Seemingly, all these last few days have been running into one another ...could be any day, in reality...feels like a Tuesday...whatever...more and more news, of closures...now hotels down here in the Gaslamp/Marina in San Diego ... the Pendry, the Manchester Hyatt, and on and on...in essence, the shut down becomes more and more of a true reality...witness the very few taxis and Ubers out and about...almost to the point of what is open?...remember back in the day, when most businesses were shuttered on Sundays?...60's and 70's and of course, before...then, they all opened up... seems like more of a Sunday ... The NFL is in their preparation mode ...moving and shaking like never before...well, at least that I can recall...players a moving all over the place...in hopes for the upcoming season to actually occur...gosh, we are hearing boatloads of cash for the new contracts ...as we sit on ZERO ...nobody making anything in the here and now... and watch, bewildered and certai...

For as often as I can give ya'll diversions, the California Governor went elsewhere...stating that there is a proclamation of a Lock Down ... to only go outside for essential things ...wooah...as we were out and about yesterday, dodging the rain...on a mini-bike ride...no mas...does that mean, no golf?...clarity, we need clarity...I will tell you that there were so very few people out, anywhere, already... so much for diversionary tactics ... I listened to Marsh talk on the tele to so many people, doing what we all are doing...going stir crazy.. .talking, texting, communicating, and on top of it all, isolating ...all this, and I see 2 cruise ships docked at the bay...both Disney ...how can this happen?... did they not get the Guv's memo? ... Word out also, that a couple of Congressionals , sold stock before the word got out on the Pandemic. ..insider trading and well, actions worthy of some fines (extreme) and perhaps, some time in the pokey ...kind of hard to be a beli...

You want some good news? ...it is the first day of SPRING! ...I am a tad bit tardy, this am...as we took a mini walk in the hood ...there are some peops out, most of them dog walkers ...all keeping their distance...from one another...you know, social distancing ...we have wipes for anything we have to touch...door knobs, condo floor buttons, geez, like anything...and notice that so much is closed down...shuttered...our 2nd floor, that has the workout room, the saunas, the pool, and hot tub...all temporarily off limits...weird... Looking out my side window, I see a cruise ship docked...what?...who would go on a cruise in these times?...word is that it is a Disney Ship ... 2,000 aboard , who are going to be let out and to roam the streets of San Diego...egads, they say that there is no coronavirus infected people aboard...what, they have tests?...not many do...you a little skeptical?...yea, me too... at least, they should test their sanity ... The diversionary tactic that this blogger is using, is totally to get your mind away from what is printed and aired EVERYWHERE! ...I can go on about the gloom and doom ...but, it is there for the viewing, if you want it...I'm going a different direction and talk about what is happening ELSEWHERE! ...hang in there with me, as, yes, I know the severity of the situation... you can read and see that in other sites... Do you think that the heat will bring change to the pandemic? ...some are suggesting that the warming of the planet will help the control of the virus...with no vaccines in sight ...it appears to be the only solution...and the shuttering of most everything...as I have been reporting for the past week or so... More and more states , the latest is Oregon, that are closing all bars and restaurants for the next 4 weeks ...take out only...you can see the ripple effects by going down to the super market and trying to find 'home' supplies...hey, the numbers of what is and is not closing, well, it is the 'is' that dominates...my son's dental office is closed, with the exception of emergency cases...Florida just closed all their campgrounds for the next 2 months...the list continues to grow...all this on the infamous St Patty's Day... Let's go elsewhere...the doom and gloom is everywhere...you all need a respite for your brain...so, how about heading over ...

Perhaps, paranoia is a better word...the fear of the unknown...or is it known?...this virus has the country on edge...most of what is coming out of the leaders throughout the land...is to STAY HOME...here in Cali, the Governor has ordered the bars to close...restaurants to have limits to the numbers one can serve...and the seniors with like any symptoms, to be self quarantined...much like other states are already doing, or will soon... We ventured out to the grocery store yesterday afternoon...apparently a poor time to do so...much of the stock was simply GONE...bare shelves...taters, eggs, pasta, meats...really, kids...no joke...the checker thanked me for bagging our food items, and I told her, 'thanks for having some food'...the line of people laughed, which was not my intention, as I was serious!...she responded, ' we close at 8 and restock...open at 8...we will be ready'...it's a tough time for us all... I have canceled my golf for the day...maybe, for the...

Hunkered? ...is that even a word?...anyhoo, we have chosen to do just that... limit our outside excursions to necessary thangs. .. dog walking, grocery shopping, and golf. ..what?...well, outside things that are people free, mostly... wash our hands, whenever we get back ...touching of others, is a no no...is this what ya'll are doing?...probably... I ordered a book from Amazon ...we have been watching movies , er flicks...saw the one, 'All The President's Men'. ...again...geez, that was well done...do miss the sports on the pixels...geez...did hit the horse racing on TVG ...actually won some scratch...yea... they are racing, with no crowds ...just the essentials...weird... So hard to give up our trip to see the kids ...but, we will get there eventually...and that's what you have to think, right?... the guessing game of how long this goes on...there is a guys golf gala event, in the next month...should I cancel or not?...the organizers want me down payment.....
