College life can be so cruel...and in this case HORRIFIC ...out at UCSD a series of misguided steps has led that school backwards... back to a time in this country's ugly past ...where lynchings were accepted by some and it was mostly directed towards the African- Americans... This is the month where Black History month has the center stage and most people delve back into the plight of them...well, a frat went a different direction and made light of it and stirred up the school...like back in the late 60's and early 70's...AND, as the frustrations were at it's highest, someone hung a noose out of the library window ... The mood and hysteria is at it's crescendo and I can't imagine why some group would go this way... SAD We watched a movie last night that coincidentally dealt with the same sort of thing...starring Gene Hackman as the culprit...haunting for sure...I can't believe he didn't win the OSCAR for it... "The Chamber" ....you mus...

vs. Villains ...another of your reality shows that run the airwaves... Survivor has been the major influence and triggered many copycats...this version is an excellent one and has some great parts to it... Parvati, Russell, Coach, Rupert , to just name a few... American Idol got trimmed by 4...can't say that any of them could win it all, so good...really need some pop in their program though... Housewives of the OC ...OMG, why do I watch these witches?  The hypocrisy of how they live is beyond belief... The Amazing Race ...always top notch rendition of itself...the pairs needed to make the show a go, is great fun...all types of people are represented and it's a great hour... Those are mine...do you have any to add? The tribe has spoken ...

The guys ... OMG !  This could be the worst crop ever ...wait, it is...outside of the last 2 the rest were just awful...however, the long haired fella that Kara drools over , may just be the winner...this is really a time that 12 were not needed...maybe just 6...I think it will diminish the numbers who watch... Downhill racing in the fog?  WTF! I want to get to Survivor ...this is a great cast and I hope Reality Steve doesn't get a handle on it... The Blazers ...they are running on good fortune picking up  a couple of wins on their road trip...first beating up on the legendary bad Nets, and then getting a coup with the Bosh less Raptors...good on 'em as they need every win... Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum here in May...we are there! I've got a new name for the Ducks , I mean the Dux, I mean the DUI X... Shepard family reunion is in mid-July...19-22 Time for some pancakes ...

Did you watch your American Idol ?  The gals performed last night and I was NOT blown away...in fact, I doubt there is the winner in that group...a few of them have potential...the 1st gal out had a booming voice, the curly head looker surprised me with a nice "Oh Darlin", and the folk rocker did a great Alanis Morrisette...as one says, it's too early to tell... There is this one high school in Kansas that is under-performing, according to it's superintendent...in a lower income area...drop out rate high and so on...so she wanted to reduce the staff's income...they protested...and voila!..the supt. fired them all!!!  OMG!  88 of them...I'm smelling a lawsuit...get her outta there... A shocking sniper shooting in Colorado, just 3 miles from the infamous one at Columbine High, that took place less than 10 years ago...a teacher tackled the shooter and stopped the carnage that follows...a true hero... The Toyota empire is crumbling right before our eyes.....

It's just another day in the Q ... but, on the Bachelor last night it hardly was... Roslyn , the gal with the affair and not with the Bachelor, shows up to be grilled...and ends up outing Chris Harrison , the host, as the fall guy in another tryst...with the fella's wife she denies she was with (the fella, I mean)... OMG , I'm confused...anyway, Jake ends up choosing Vienna and lives happily ever after... LT finally is let loose by the Bolts ...a season too late for this blogger...he was great at one time...not now...time to hang up the boots... 6 pars and a birdie, not bad for a hack like me yesterday at Sycuan ...in the rain at times... It's AI time...apparently they have to throw out a male, 'cuz he already was on contract...but, sit back down and see if there is a gal worth the hype...I hear the winner will be from the lot... 70* today and we are out and about...going to a mall in Chula Vista , lunch at the beach, grocery shopping, driving range...

What on earth is going on with the Dux football program ?  I can count 4 major law infractions in the past week...are we talking bad guys?  Or good guys going bad?  Or what?  Clean it up Chip ...and fast... If you don't have HBO , you need to get it...if you haven't watched Big Love , you need to watch it... It's a story about polygamy ...at times, hilarious...at times, so piercing...at times, thought provoking... You see you have your typical (?) Mormon who has his sights on following their Book of...taking care of his family...only thing is...he has a huge one with 3 wives ...and he is trying to live in the real world, and yet, have ties in the other more protected one in " the compound "...so the story gets complicated, with so many twists and turns it is, well, absolutely great... So I am playing golf with this young feller the other day who is a theology student...graduated from college and all...had done some time in South America where he did some preaching ...figured he'd try to pry my lid and see where I was with it...nope...guess he surmised I was a goner ...anyhoo, I asked how and why he got into that field...and he said he had a friend that was ...
