Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......

I admit it, the Horse is biased...so you forevers might just stop reading me today...right now ... the 1st night of the DNC...was exhilarating! ...so much so, they had to bump the star singing JT...James Taylor...the speeches were sometimes, daring...but always, on point... Coach Steve Kerr , got me rocking ... ending with the Steph Curry 'night night' to trump, after the final votes are counted ...loved it, and screamed in the living room... was a tad bit worried on Hils.... Hillary , that is...and not be just, she was terrific ...there were others that were carrying the message... the best of the rest?...the cat from Georgia... Senator Ralph Warnock ...he has to have some pastor background, right?...an intense view from the south...lord, he was spellbinding ...the nite ended with Prez B , doing his thing ...I thought he was shouting, rather than talking...that made it not as good as it could have been...listen, kids, it's my take...don't be mad at me... Am going to start this, but will not finish before I have to get on out to Singing Hills...as we prep for the Democratic National Convention...set IN Chicago...where I can recall the '68 version of it...where the people were divided again...those who wanted war and those who didn't...it was a bloodbath....that time it was the Vietnam one...WAR, what is it good for, absolutely nuttin'... The list of speakers, is a good one...and the passing of the torch is tonight from Prez B to VP Kamala Harris...also, speaking is Hillary....tomorrow is both Michele and Prez Barack Obama...imagine that to be a dandy...Wednesday is Prez Clinton...along with VP candy man Tim Walz...and then, Thursday, is all Kamala...who spoke for the RNC?...can't recall...did Prez Bush?...nope...in fact NO ONE of any significance...duh...well, the rassler Hulk Hogan...
