Morning kids...and in a few hours I will travel up north for the...gulp... 50th High School Reunion! ...have to say, these past few 50 have gone way too fast...ha ha...I can remember thinking that when I graduated, I had no idea what I was going to do...here we go again, I am thinking the same... When you have over 900 in a class, you can imagine how many ways the people split...and went so many directions...I'm hearing that the number of mates is around 200...22% ...kind of like the numbers of the Donald...I digress...is this normal?...I know "the committee" has been working long and hard at getting this date together...must be near impossible to keep in touch with a lot of the kids... Regardless, we will have a good time ...and I'll taketh some pix...playing golf in the 100* temp will be a challenge...and then rest up enough to head on out to the social...asking a lot...you know, the group pix and the food...the memo came out that they are going to take two s...

Morning kids ...this guy is up early...has to be the body reacting to the upcoming trip up north...it's way of showing the nervousness of it all...ha ha...anyway, I'm here so let's do some gabbing... Terrific Tom Brady ...the centerpiece of the "Deflategate" cheating episode of the New England Pats...you know the story...the NFL upheld his 4 games suspension...and he now retorts " I did nothing wrong" ...just to be sure, he destroyed his cellphone...hint, Hillary, you're too late to do the same...and...it didn't work for Tommy.... The deadline is a coming for the trades in MLB...curiously none have been made by the Pads ...have til Friday...how did SD do in it's first at NY?...against the much maligned Mets?...were held hitless by a 22 yr old...for 6 innings...and when it was finally the time...down 2-0...got two hits in the 7th...runners on 1st and 3rd...no outs...and our prized number 3 and 4 hitters coming up...very expensive blokes...

So you have your two Leagues in Major League Baseball...the American and National...sure then you break those down into divisions...and there you have the makeup of  baseball in the great US of A...not so fast, my friends... As the brief trading of players season is upon us, I became befuddled...the perennial All Star SS from the Rockies, Troy Tulowitzki...from our division...was moved to, get this, Toronto!...what?...they have a team there?...is it the Mud Hens?... I have been jaded by the national TV broadcasts, by ESPN and Fox...who only show certain teams each and every week...and I now dub this, the PIXEL DIVISION! ...the members are the Red Sox, Yankees, Cubs, Cardinals, Dodgers, and the Giants...we, the public, are blessed with the viewing of them and them alone...now, it is possible that their opponents may be some other divisional team...but that is by accident... Let's look at their records this season... Pixel Division        Wins   ...

Hey now, I am hopping mad...I was in the hunt for another, yup, another Pick 5 out at Del Mar. ..hit the 1st two races and had 3 going in the 3rd...and then...my fave, the 9...was being loaded into the gate...with a starter dude right in front of him in the gate...and the race started!...my horse jumped and swerved and tried (successfully) to avoid running over the dude...the horse was never in...of course, the 9 was no factor...the crack stewards ruled the race would stand...and my 9 was considered a non-starter...booo...and thus, I missed the race...you know it, I hit the last 2...4 out of 5 in this bet pays zero, nada, nuttin, no $!...I was, and am LIVID!...the race should have been thrown out...the starter screwed up...and this whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth...booooooo... Gambling...think about this...there were 3 jockeys in Loosiana that were arrested for throwing horse races in that state...seems that they were holding some horses up, so they wouldn't finish...

Top of the morning to you all ...it's back to back sunny days in the hood...and I am a liking it...here's what's got the Horse an itching... Give me more money!...what?... Josh Smith , the NBA dude...signed with the Clip Joint...and is at his time in his basketball life, that he will be a backup...and part of the infamous 2nd unit...for a pretty good team...and signed for $6.9 million...and he has said that his family would have trouble living on that amount...what?...can you imagine?... This is trade time in MLB...the cats who have a chance for the playoffs, want to get more...and the dogs who are just that, are willing to give up some blokes for the bloody prospects...always a losing prop...in other words, the rich get richer...see above...a name that is being brought up ALL THE TIME, is Phillie pitcher, and SD native, Cole Hamels...who just pitched a no hitter yesterday...against your team , the Cubbies...think his price just didn't go up?...
