Let's just keep playing hoops ...the words of the NBAers, the Denver Nuggets and the home team, the Portland Trailblazers...in game three of the west semis...the winner of it, has the pivotal edge...a no doubter...and the outcome?...just went on and on...took FOUR OVERTIMES , kids...4...as it usually does, it was a key miss that was the difference...a missed FT by their (Denver's) C, the Joker...that paved the way for the Blazers win ... Both teams had their best dudes out playing in all of the OT's...yup, the bodies became weary...and, go figure, two of the well rested bench guys, from PDX, hit key shots to help finish off the game ... Rodney Hood and Seth Curry ...it was NOT a masterpiece of great play, but it was a show of perseverance...and pride... gulp now, the reffing wasn't all that bad ...I can't believe I wrote that... Our day started as we took out to NOT my fav place, Walmart ...to get thangs for the RV, that we now have officially named it...drum...

MORNING kids...how the Heck (Harper) are you?...c'mon, it's Friday, so the day and the weekend is upon us...gots to be good, right?...something blew into my brain, as I was reading my 15 sources this am...I have no idea from where it arrived... The highlight of the day, was that AG Barr showed up to the Senate floor...to listen to Q's about the Mueller Report...the Repubs think he did a mahvelous job...ha ha... the Demos, not so much...of course, it is in the eye of the beholder...BUT...he squirmed his way around the issues very poorly...some asked him to resign...and so on...uncomfortable as he was,  he opted not to show up today and face the House...his choice...think he is second guessing hiding thangs for Donny is such a good idea?...well, ...

A Wednesday morning quickee, kids...the golf course is a calling moi...just some things I need to get out and let you ponder on...no bigger than the lingering report of reports, the unseen by the common man or woman, the Mueller Report... You have seen the version of the acting AG Barr...two of them...but breaking news hit the airwaves the past day...that Mueller himself was dismayed by what Barr summarized it as...what you, I, and everyone else got, was a FACADE! ... AG Barr is in Congress today, attempting to further smoke screen his memos...er, his versions of the Report...my story is to just watch and listen to what he has to say...let his words dictate how you yourself, feel, as to what is really going on... Another school shooting...in UNC at Charlotte...last day of classes...a former student...ah, this item just keeps on and on and on...someday, we may see the light...to get the guns out of the hands that don't need 'em... Professional hoops has brought about a totally different way of playing the game... the long ball ...the shot that is worth 3 points ...along with it, are methods of shooting the rock, with screens that make the effort unencumbered ...(BTW, try to spell that one, without looking it up)... picks ...the player comes off of the screens and has a free range of motion to launch the three ball... Yes, the game has become more of a 2 man game ...with blokes sitting in the corners waiting to shoot their own 3...if their defender has the audacity to go help the others...and then you have the roamer ...the dude who can't shoot, but does everything else...like rebound the rock...er, somebody has to be near the basket... So, the zebras have a totally new task at hand...and it is EASIER ...they carefully watch the screener. ..if any movement at all, it is called an offensive foul...good lord, in times past, there has been so little of this call...and the other thang they watch for......

My how times have changed...
