It went OT for the 1st game of the Cards / Bums game...and St Looey got it in walk off fashion by Carlos Bertran ... BUT ... LA got screwed out of a go ahead run in the top of the 10th ...as the catcher Molina, got credit for tagging out the Bum runner at the plate...sure, it was a collision...and he did hang on to the ball... BUT ... he never tagged him , kids! ...my son said this is a normal call for Blue...much like the out at 2nd in a double play...in the area... NO! ...I don't buy it...get the replay button going and GET THIS RIGHT! ...really, I don't care who wins... BUT , I want the calls right... So I went out to Sycuan and practiced yesterday.. .PRACTICE ...I'm going to be honest here...I was a spaz...no feel, no clue...finally, it started to come back...eegads, I am thinking disaster today...hope the boyz don't want some of their $ back...ha ha...not going to happen today...I can hear them now, belly aching...got my eye out on a new Versa putter by O...

The news of the possible salvation of the country was leaked...more so to the Stock Market than to us...and the effects were impressive...monster gains by the Dow and the Nasdaq ...I will never, ever, figure that stuff out... ALTHOUGH ...there is no solution today...I still say... we need to fire them all ...start all over with newbies...and move the US in the right direction... Detroit has a winner...like that city doesn't need it in the worst way...how much are those tix?...in an area hit so hard by the recession...it's good that they have a way to vent and enjoy where they are from...ah, the beauty of sport...as the star pitcher, Verlander , proved almost unhittable...and the Tigers move on to play the Red Sox ...let's see...in my league, it's the Cards versus the Bums ...yup, those are the 4 best teams ... USC ...fresh off of canning their abysmal coach...and using an interim guy that they will NOT hire...looked like a new team and whupped the Cats from Ariz...

A feel bad story comes along in the sports arena...way too often...and this one out of Arizona ...where the GM of the baseball Diamondbacks...none other than once GM of the Padres, Kevin Towers , shot his big mouth off...when here, he was disastrous to the club, with his poorly crafted tradings and all...and fortunately, got the BOOT! ...I digress ...the story, CH, the story...he was on a local sport's talk show...and popped off about how his pitching staff wasn't throwing at enough opponent's heads...you know, in retaliation... WELL...KT, you are the GM, NOT THE ON FIELD GUY! ... stay the heck out of the kitchen ...and he talked about "giving orders" to do that more often...talking was enough...he then fired his pitching coach...not tough enough...in a game where a lot of blokes throw 90+ mph...it isn't a "playstation" type of thing...that, my friends, is lethal... for the good of sport, Arizona, FIRE your GM ...and get him out of the game... ...

Hey kids, I am up early...you know what that means... rants and raves! ... Say it isn't so... the K Fam is in disarray ...leader of the pack, Brucey , has fled the coup...couple that with Khloe kicking out Lamar...it is another wonderful chapter in America's favorite fam.... Snooki , the other one... not the most talented, gifted dancer ...although HE just may be... thanks for your reply yesterday ...thought your mind was blown...OUT... Went out for Chinese food last eve...you know there are none of them in the GQ...wonder why...so, had to high tail it up to Hillcrest ... Now LA, the Bosox know how to celebrate a minor set of games...the Bums are dreadful in that category... try it with class, not be...

OK, kids, it's time to have the PEOPLE take the country back ...not these foos who are squabbling with each other...at the expense of all us common man...and they continue to earn their $ and their Lobbyist's  $...the latest?... to not fund the Social Security Checks ...oops...that's all my fellow humans my age...even though I think young...well...it takes me back to Vietnam days...where we rebelled...and though there was little we could do about the government... RECALL these guys and gals ...it's time for the people to meet and and get a ground swell to start all over... It has become a joke to these blokes and blokettes ....as it doesn't affect them... WELL ...maybe it should...if they were released, er, fired from their jobs...how does the common man deal with this?...we need to spread the word...by Facebook...by Twitter...by church groups...by home associations...by school groups... Everyone is talking about the loser...and not the winner...as the Broncos beat the Boys , in a thriller, 51-48...what?...this is the same team that the Bolts beat up on last week...the bloody NFL...who can figure it?...but, as the scribes want to emphasize the screw up by Romo at the end, I think we should talk about just how good Peyton Manning is...as he brought the Broncos back and then took advantage of the D's pick...and very smartly, used the clock to kick the winning FG... Staying in the league...due to the Oakland A's playoff game the day before...the football game was moved to an 8:30 pm start....eegads...I could barely stay awake for the 1st half...as the Bolts took on the turrible Raiders....wait, SD is the new dog...as they got whupped by Oakland...in a very listless outing by the Bolts...awful game plan...and Rivers looked like crap...er, played like crap...got shut out in the 1st...on the way to a 27-17 loss...let's be honest, this is not a good team... ...

I promise to be more positive today... That's exactly what the Buffaloes did in their home game with the Ducks ... ROLLED THE DICE ...started with an onsides kick...did some halfback pass (TD)...and went for it when others wouldn't...in the end...a shellacking...57-16...as UO continues to impress...I turned it off when that was the score in the middle of the 3rd...and you gamblers...if you picked the Duckees , they covered the 39 1/2... Speaking of covering...if that's what you are in to... Northwestern was giving Ohio St all they wanted...and were on a desperation "keep the ball alive" on the final play of the game...the pigskin ended up floundering into the wrong end zone....and the Buckeyes pounced on it for a meaningless score, as time ran out...but...it gave those who bet on Ohio St a win...even the announcer, Mussberger, alluded to such a thing...a complete no no...which he has done before....you remember, the Tide's QB's gal friend in last y...
