Well you needed to see my softer side ... And now the Padres winning streak is at ... 7 ... At Cincy they put up 10 runs... AGonzo a grand salamy... Ryan Mathews is the new RB hope for the Bolts ...hopefully, they draft more RBs...watch out for the Dux Blount ...just got that feelin' The Blazers are so done... Can the Lakers win in OCity (Supersonics)... Had a great Del Boca meal last night at our good friend's the Morrises ... We are heading over to the Orygun coast for dog sprinting on the beach, hitting our old stomping grounds, and the best chowder in the world...yup, the world, at Mo's ... I 3 putted 5 times yesterday...makes no difference where in the US I play, I putt a lot ... Stay thirsty my friend...

As I settle in this neck of the country I do so without a newspaper ...I will not buy the Urinal ...the smallest sports page ever ...I digress..the Bolts had their pick and their need was a running back...and they traded up a bunch of spots to get their guy...the RB out of Fresno ...by all accounts, just what they wanted... Surprised in the draft?  Any QB taken is a surprise to me in the 1st round...but Denver taking Tebow was the top one... OK, it is the gratuitous 3rd game for the long and boring NBA playoffs ...the Lakers and Cavs get beat on the road...duh...if this were a best of three, or a best of five, it would have never happened...get real... Did you watch your Survivor ...never fails that some dummy gives up an idol and it ends up biting him is the ass... JT , you deserve the boot award... It's just a small vacation of food, booze, golf, and prepping the house up ...

Banging our way into FIRST PLACE , the mighty Padres completed a sweep of not only Arizona , but San Francisco ...led by oh so slow, Jon Garland , and taters by AGonzo and Nick Hundley , the Pads quietly, and I mean quietly, have taken over the top spot in the west ...and nobody is talking about them...it's now a road trip to Cincy and Florida ...keep our fingers crossed as the group keeps getting better...and if Venable and Blanks start producing...well watch out NL ... Isn't the NBA finished yet?  I'm kidding but it seems to go on forever... Idol ...the mop haired one got the boot....I'm not sure how the kid stays....by the way, the Idol gives back show...IS BORING...should have done it in one hour, rather than stretch it to two... Let's keep it real dog, if you invested in gold you are a happy camper right now...and we did, thus we are happy... Off to the great northwest ...get this, we are leaving rain for the sunshine!

You see this guy?  It's the Padres nemesis, the Giant's Jonathan Sanchez ...and he did it again last night....he one hit 'em and was totally in control... BUT ...it was all it took for the Pads to WIN AGAIN ...for their 5th win in a row ...and move in to 1st place in the west ... Chase Headley gets the only hit and steals second and scores on two sac hits...big Matt Latos dominates for 7, and Mike Adams and Heath Bell survive scares as the beat goes on... Idol ...most of them did just OK in my book...is there a way for the judges to see the screamer in a positive way?  I'm hearing her better than they do ...well, I thought the whole night was boring...the kid should go ... NBA ...wooah to the Blazers ... It is showering here and we have a game in the afternoon... fair weather fan ... ps... DWTS ... Kate is gone !... good job voters

 The Padres won their 4 th in a row, by a walk off home run by the 2 nd sacker, little David Eckstein! ....in the streak, we have won 3 games in comeback fashion and makes you stay 'til the end...another great night of pitching as Clayton Richard got into the 7 th, before tiring... Heath Bell blew a save in the 9 th prior to Eckstein's heroics in the 10 th...and Luke Gregerson pitched the 7th and 8 th masterfully... NBA ...how on earth did the Jazz beat the Nuggets at Denver? I was gandering about at what was going on in Orygun , and I see your Sarah is speaking in Eugene...and the security is tight...can't believe she'd be too welcome in the liberal capital of the world... DWTS ... Nicole the Pussycat easily the best... not so fast my good friends. ..the ice skater dude is mighty graceful and is closing the gap... please stick a fork in Kate , she is DONE .... Get back to American Honey ...what does that mean?

A bunch of the good stuff happened yesterday...my favorite awards show, Country Music Awards (CMA'S) ....repeating as the entertainer of the year was Carrie Underwood ...we have seen her in concert, and you know we see a number of them...and hers is the best, thus the award seems fitting...smashing thru was Lady Antebellum with group and song of the year awards... "Need You Know" is a monster song that will live forever, and Hillary Scott is the break thru star...not getting the hype was teen star Taylor Swift ...and most of the older singers sang off key during their live stuff...not the two a fore mentioned however... What a splendid weekend for the Padres !  A sweep of the DBacks ...another big blast by Chase Headley and it was deja vu all over again ...great bullpen work and the increased number of peops out at Petco left happy... again ... The Blazers ...huge win at Phoenix ...the only upset in all 8 first round games...did you catch the post game interview ...

And the Padres get their second in a row...the shutout complete with Correa and the bullpen it was a great win...big night for Nick Hundley with a tater and 3 rbi's...the only concern is that they have dropped Adam Russell back to PDX and brought up LeBlanc to pitch today...and keep horrible Gallagher ...has to be some $ issue, 'cuz Russell is a big stud... NBA...the Jazz are injury bit and are through...as it looks the same for the Blazers ...still way too much hype on Durant as they will get slaughtered by the well rested Lakers ...it's a long 2nd season... We are heading over to Petco , for the sweep.... Enjoy the sun ...
