KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK! ...at our door this morning...like real early...4:30ish...it was the dreaded fire alarm...and WATER BREAK!...on OUR FLOOR...opening up the door, and there it be...we were so fortunate, as it stopped right at our doorstep...the rest of the floor, not so lucky...the perils of vertical living...and the water went down, too...thru the elevators, the lobby, and the parking garage...pretty much makes life a standstill...as I am writing this am (6:20) there are workers trying to syphon the water OUT...using the machines that do it...and now...the water has stopped...the reasoning for it all?...yet to be determined...or, the people in the know, have not said...anyhoo, I am home bound and will miss my golf today...just as well, as my knee is acting up... Morning, kids...ah, the sunshine is out...the weather is clear...the morning aroma is perfect...too soon for Richard Walker's pancakes, I reckon ...which does permeate the air all around us...that sweet smell...agonizing for us who can't have them...I do have some form of Keto cakes, but last time I tried 'em, it was a simple 'no, no'...almond flour?...something like that...I settle for Grape Nuts and a nanner.... We are prepping for the great get away...up to the Pacific Northwest...gonna 'Fly Away'. ..this time, in lieu of taking Cosmo...who I have been told, is pissed...he likes the journey...man, we have so much crammed in to the time there, I don't know how it can be done...we are renting a SUV (I think)...we are going to Salem, Lincoln City, and then Bend...egads, with stops with as many friends as possible...anyhoo, we are really looking forward to it...the one problem...how we have changed in appearance...a downer for the ego...'man, you sur...

Top of the morning to you all...as this summer season has finally arrived...at least here ...we have turned the AC on but once...we live on a corner unit, so we get natural air...leaving both patio doors open... Getting kind of antsy for the VP pick by Kamala ...still think it may be Kelly...am laughing about how trump is avoiding the debate, hosted by ABC...which is the planned one...he wants Fox...only...have them both... Impending doom...the Israel fight in the Middle East ....against a lot of nations...
