Hello, kids...the reason for the season is upon us....the 60th HS Reunion !...odd time of 2-6 pm...must be cuz of the age of us elders... We have been out and about...have seen NO ONE we recognize or know...yes, we have been gone for 20 years, but...thx again for the Snookies for their hospitality... Prior to leaving, we will watch the 1st half of the UO/OSU game ...the line continues to drop to 34 1/2...which makes me wonder, who is hurt for the Ducks... Been all over the map here in Salem/Keizer ...btw, met Bro Jim and Pam at the McNary GC restaurant ...which has changed hands more often, than Raiders change head coaches...it was great....with a dandy waitress...I recommend... Yes, this also is our 51st anniversary...I am so lucky...as everything has told me...often...we will delay the celebration until tomorrow, heading over to the Oregon Coast ... Ok...time for commentary...this effort by trump...to silence all his critics...is patently absurd...and an act of a wannabe dictator.....

Such a beautiful drive from Bend to Salem !...the best time of the year, here...the mountains, the trees, Detroit Lake ...marvelous...the time just sped by...really... Another wonderful guest hosts, them Snookies ...we are so lucky...Last eve went to a rad dinner at the ZBells ...our old buds, who were part of the ‘gourmet club’, along with Vickie B ...so much fun, with lots of laughter and memories...great to see them all... Today, R and R, ha ha...and meeting up with a bro and his wife...Jim and Pam...then, geez, another dinner with our hosts...we owe them big time... All this prior to tomorrow’s reunion...told you this would be exhausting...which is also our 51st anniversary!... The best day ever...sunny skies...cool mornings...warm afternoons...what’s not to love?...the quiet of the central Oregon city of Bend ...great friends and hosts...we reciprocate whenever they come to LowCal ...had a night, cruising in the rag top to a bodacious burger joint...then, to top it off...watch the Friars whup the Metropolitans ... Scrambling about in the FF world...the Horse has announced The Firing of HC Willy Willycheck ...after 2 brutal weeks of inept coaching...the staff has decided to release the coach...unceremoniously, too...as Willy and his latest lady, Nilly , walked out of the clubhouse...nonchalantly...there will be a nationwide search for his replacement...in the interim, Cash Battle , will guide the team...'but I know nothing about coaching football'...no problem Cash, your cousin Kash , said the same about running the FBI...it will work it's way out... The ever exciting Friars ...got the sticks a burning in the past weekend...and saved the series from the Rockettes ...however, still remain 2 1/2 back from the Bums ...a day off for travel, and land in NY, for a crucial (yes another one) set with them Metropolitans ... Here we swim about in untested waters...the vast expanse of this thing I call the web net ...which has pretty much taken over for the news source of the country...not sure about the World...but, I wouldn't doubt it...even bigger than the pixels...the TeeVee, that is...sure, you may spend much of your time, gazing at your cell phone...for the news...the hot topics...whatever one calls it... Furthermore, there is a good chance that you read the headlines, and bypass the story within them...so, like I say to so many now... the people, the kids, the learners...now know a little about a lot, and NOT a lot about any one thing ...it is the nature of this beast...this thing, the web net... Gone, for the most part, are the news sources of the past...the newspaper...the written word...to see the stories in print, on paper...to survive, the newspaper has had to go online...the impact, is startling... IT IS NOT THE SAME!... You are going to tell me, that influencers are ruining this country.....
