Morning kids...is it just me, or is there more shootings and killings....DAILY...than ever before in history?...I have nothing to base that on...other than reading the news of the day...the latest of world interest... Jo Cox...from Britain ...by, yet another deranged assassin...not only shot her but stabbed her repeatedly...the victim was a political leader in Great Britain... What is going on with the society of the earth? ...not just here in the States...chaos rules in way too many areas...what is the missing element?...why?...I just don't get it...is it the lack of common sense?...is it ignorance?...is it blind faith?...is it jealousy?...whatever it is...is it not the right time for a true United Nations to take over?...somebody has to start it all up... If I could hear one of our candidates address this issue, she or he, would get my vote...but instead...we just have to do something... Much less mundane things...that I write about... The (US) Open ...oh my...the story...

Oakmont ...Pennsylvania... will be the winner here for The (US) Open ..."experts" think it may be a 5 over score...for the eventual survivor of the most grueling test in golf...who might that be?...has to be one of the 3 biggees...Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, or Rory McIlroy ...but...Horse has no clue...I did enter a pool and did go with Day...and would embrace a Spieth back to back years win...silently, er not now, I hope for him... The only problem?...the show is owned and delivered by FOX ...who kinda does it's own thing...in the past... bad camera angles...bad announcing...just bad bad bad ...and...less total time of viewings...so for us folks who want more, we get less... OK...my overall 5 picks are... Day, Rose, Schwartzel, Stenson and Kuchar ...I have no chance... Morning, kids...just a few thoughts before I head on out to the course...back to back days...geez, you can see the rust fall off of me out there...ha ha...twice in 3 weeks...it's OK...as it felt great to be there... There are no words...to the horrific mass killings ...anywhere...and yet, we have another...this time in Orlando...one that kept going on for like 3 hours...can you imagine...more and more carnage...when does this ever stop?...of course, there was an assault rifle used ...of course... When is our Congressional types going to finally give in and ban them?...have they no shame?...reject the lobbyists money, and vote to get the rapid fire machines out of the public's hands...will it take another goon... to enter the House of Reps and unload?... I am at a loss...what am I missing here?...I have heard the rationale of the gun supporters...reject it all...let's start with the weapon and go from there.... we, the people, need this... Much less important stuff...
