We did stop at a hole in the wall, er map...Davenport...that had the best chowder since Mo’s...perhaps better than Snooki’s Hitchin’ Post version...all heresay....last eve, went to the restaurant here at the KOA...got over served by a tender who looked just like Dianne Keaton...today, off to Half Moon Bay...no idea what to expect...Cosmo rolls on... Did Tiger make the cut at LA?...have read nothing about it... Mom, Machine Gun and I broke up....’damn it, daughter, I just bought a weapon’... Can’t believe I am going to miss the NBA all star game...sarcasm... Just when I was enthused for the Friar season, Manny goes and spoils it ‘there’s a lot of money out there’... 37* this am...TG for this little power heater... We are coughing so much...better when we are up....

We gots the cold...and we figure it makes no difference if we are sick here or there...so we travel on...yesterday was the Santa Cruz bay front...3 roller coasters....?....surprisingly not slammed with people...this must be the ‘go to’ place for the San Franciscans...it’s been 40 years since we passed through here...the area has grown so much...remind me so much of the Oregon coast...not at all like SD’s...maybe the cold has something to do with that... Stopped at a True Value and did buy a space heater.....such a smart purchase...we were toasty warm last nite...first time we have dealt with that need...usually just the opposite, trying to stay cool...travels... This KOA has many cabins, too...lots of folk checked into them yesterday...gosh, this place reminds me of Bend sooooo much...the trees and all...so spread out...can’t believe how often I wear a stocking cap... Other... That earthquake deaths...keeps increasing, what now?...41,000?...horrific...now, just posted 44,000! The Mich ...

Abort!...Abort!...of course this happened...the Horse was unhooking to move on to the next agenda...bent over in such a way to TWEAK me back!...can’t walk...hunched over, like the Hunchback of Notre Dame...I walked to the Good Dr Cris to get a filling...here we go...I’m numb, Boss Lady coughing uncontrollably, from a virus she picked up...and slept, knowing we can’t finish the trek...we decide to abort, and go back to the homeland...the only thing missing is Mel Torme singing ‘Smile’...Cosmo was waiting... The morning...we were starting the trip back...stopped for petrol and and some Mickey D’s...Voila!...me back works...thus, we aborted the abort...and here we are...north of Santa Cruz at a very nice KOA...yea, another problem...it is COLD at nite...we need to get more propane...that is the issue for this day...and to get a small electric heater...ah yeas, Boss is doing better...the northest we go is to Half Moon Bay...30 minutes or so...we travel on... The news of yet another mass sh...

The Horse turned ‘Carnac’...as he had the score of the Sooper Bowl, the Chiefs 35-32...iff Mahomes was healthy...thought at half, he was done...ankle injury...again...the extended half time, the Rihanna Red Zone, apparently helped his recovery...as KC scored on each possession in the 2nd half...led by the QB... The east coast Philly pundits called foul...on a key holding penalty....relax folk, the player admitted he did it...and another is done...fun game... The commercials were odious...the halftime show?...not my thang...as Snooki said, we are too old to relate...I would have preferred Chris Stapleton...oh yea, LeBron was shown on the big screen to a massive amount of booooooos....as he did the oh so stupid, crowning himself...the Phoenix Suns don’t like him much... Sure, you football fans go bonkers over the Sooper Bowl...gatherings, bets, grids, faithful fans, bandwagon ones, curious peops, and just party folk...turn on to this spectacle...there are those who find as much interest in the commercials as the game...my fav is usually the Budweiser Clydesdales...no, not only cuz they are horses... The game...I think it may be a high scoring one...the wish of many on the $100 squares...if Mahonnes is healthy, it is KC as the victor...if still hobbled, then it is Philly...please, don’t let the outcome be on a ‘non call’... Have as much interest in the Sopranos Open in Scottsdale...so many pros within a few strokes...started already this am... Oh my, Turkey and Syria...the death total over 33,000!...the buildings just collapsed...non reinforced concrete...imagine...
