Good morning kids...I've been in Borrego Springs for a golf excursion with 24 clowns, alas the name... BOZOS ...well, I guess it is is the reason for the nomenclature...it was a fun time...and of course, there were a plenty of them white stakes, that appear to draw my white ball their way ...and balloons my score a bit...ha ha...odd that when the 1st round was going on...like when I was playing decent...I didn't notice them...I have come to this conclusion... I am a very below average hack ...but I looked good in my uniform...multi-colored, sporting a red nose...sidelight...Borrego Springs is IN SD COUNTY!...huge one... The Masters ...you know a bit back I wrote about the aging process off the modern day Arnie/Jack clones.... Tiger/Lefty ...how they have come and gone, too....then I watched the interview of Mickleson...and changed my mind about picking him in my 5 guy guess...he is a terrific orator...no longer the player he once was... I shoulda left in Spieth ...I only ...

It was a GREAT GAME! ... the Big Dance ...as UConn outlasted the youngins from Kentucky ...I'm talking the fellers...as strong guard play (again) wins the contest...unbelievable that a zone brought the Wildcats back in the game...and then they didn't start the 2nd half in it...aw, coaching decisions...had no vested interest in it...so enjoyed it like when I did radio, daddio....oh yea, the hot rumor...is that KU's Calipari is headed to the NBA and will take over the Lake Show ...interesting...if true...and... UC's Napier is a can't miss in that league ...so says me... Tonight is the ladies turn ...as both teams are undefeated... UConn (really!) and Notre Dame ...no love lost between the two...and the Irish Gals have had success against Gino's team in the past...of course, that was then and this is now...I am really looking forward to this one, too...and have no idea who will get the crown... The NBA took the night off... PDX did clinch the other da...

Finally, the good guys, er, gals won!... the final pairing at the Dinah was between two real nice people... Lexi Thompson (19 and the winner) and Michelle Wie (runner-up)...both hit the ball a ton...both played quickly...both have had putting issues in the past...and now are on track to be major players for the rest of the season...it was fun watching...and I say GREAT SHOW by the LPGA in Palm Springs... and so interested...as they both swing their irons like I have been...3/4...lurved it... And over on the guy's side...they had weather issues in Texas....ah hem, Houston we have a problem ...and showed us common folk the broadcast on tape delay ...and then I got disinterested...but did see the collapse of Matty Kuchar on the 18th ...up 2 and breezing...and did the unpro thing...hit an approach in the agua...when he was to be playing it safe ...and ended up in a playoff...and lost to a chip in...eegads...and off he goes from my Master's list ...have no idea who the blok...

Deja Vu

And this may be the worst ever...well, since I have been here...talking the punchless Padres ...as this time...t hey got shut out...and lost 5-0 to the Marlins ...to secure 2 out of 2 series defeats...there just isn't much here offensively...really...only the two Miami grads may start and play elsewhere... Alonso and Grandal ...and for goodness sakes, please get the inept Headley out of the 3rd hitting slot...he is a disaster ...and is the WURST at that spot in the Bigs... baseball qualifies as having TV heroes, right?... You know how this goes...if it continues the same pattern... you can't move all the players, so the head of the ship is removed ...and the days of the Buddy are numbered ....or risk all time lows in attendance...and you KNOW, the GM and owners won't blame themselves...hoping for a miracle today... Played out at Sycuan yesterday...and witnessed something that I had never, ever seen live... Gary, one of my guys in my group, had the most impressive 6...
