I'm not sure of the definition of 'global warming' ...but dang, we have had more rain here in SoCal since we moved here , some ten years ago...it took like 3 of them first ones, to get any...it's been like almost a full month's worth now...and my good friends up in the Pacific Northwest, have had a bundle of snow and damn cold rain ...like for the entire month, too...supposed to have 3 straight, more days of the wet stuff in SD...boo..."we need it"...tired of that statement... global cooling? ...ha ha... Morning, kids ...this might just not sit well with you today...hmmm...hear me out...all the way...geez, I set you up for something that is not much like what the Horse says...usually...it starts with the, and well, ends with the Golden Globes ...did you watch it?... the Hollywood Foreign Press Awards...whoever they are ...that honor the past year's, in their eyes, best flicks and pixel shows...and the stars thereof...OK, that is the set up... As the show was sailing along in the fantasy land of the screen, both big and little...where the pretty people picked up the awards...hey, the most honored was the musical, "La La Land" ...that won most everything possible...all the parts ...and really became a celebration of the movie...I've wanted to see it for awhile now...it's not at our local theater...boo...another story for another time... The telecast was moving a bit slow ...these all seem to do so...and then... it slowed...waaaayyyy down ...time for the bit ...

Ah yes, the pretty and rich people get another set of awards...by their fellow 1%... the Golden Globes ... hosted by Jimmy Fallon ...we have the honor to watch the elite...what they are adorning themselves with...how the glistening of the diamonds do so...they are wearing "whom?"...blah blah blah... these, are the dudes that Bernie was talking about, right? ...wait, no, he was talking about them Wall St Blokes...hmmm...they all have that one thinger...lots of money...so, yes, Bernie, these fit the mode, too ...will you watch?...yea, me too... Well, your Seattle Seahawks won the playoff game vs them Lions of Detroit...kind of easily...but... I'll bet you won't hear a peep about them talking the officiating ...a couple of brutal calls, er non calls, that helped the 'Hawks score a couple of TD's...not sure about what the other team has said...I know what I'd say...if they do, they get fined by the league...
