You watching the coverage of the shootings of the people in Oklahoma and North Carolina?...it brings me to the thoughts that...being a cop is a very difficult job...snap decisions...just more than meets the eye...however, if the defendants families are right, we have a major problem...right?... This coward who did the bombs in Manhattan has too many rights...says me... We met up with me old coaching mate last night...Greg and Val Nolz...told many old stories...some funny and some not so much...at Kimos in Lahaina... Think that the Prez wannabes aren't prepping for Monday's debate?...will be a beut... "They" say we are gonna have some rain today...I think "they" have said that every day... "You throwing in the towel?"...the waitress asked me after brunch...an odd term for a youngin...I made a remark back...long story short, she was from Salem, graduated from the school I taught at...small world... We did play golf at Kahili...they suffer...

Evening, kids...just some very tired vacay peops....the last 2 days we have been on the go...topped off at Ruths Chris for our anniversary dinner...which was fabulous!...this mild weather is just intoxicating...I could get use to it...move here?...ha ha...seems like we have the notion to relocate most every place we travel to... This is why we have what we do...I get a call from our Concierge in our condo in San Diego...she asks me if "it is ok to send the Rabbi up?"...what?...I responded NO!...she catches herself and says that he has the wrong unit number...I immediately contact Sammi's 2nd mother, BJ...who promptly goes down to the lobby and checks it out...all is well...security on different levels is way cool... Am watching the pixel coverage of the state of emergency in North Carolina...you think we don't have racial problems still?...maybe more of a cop procedural issue?...I dunno...something is way wrong...you tell me... Aloha, kids...we are celebrating our 42nd anniversary today!... What?...for the last 12+ years we have vacat here in Maui for the event...I guess it is called that...we kind of figure that's a present in itself...I am so lucky...I am not worthy... Say it isn't so...Angelina has called it quits with Brad...oh my...Jolie is chucking the Pitts...sorry about that...did you know they were only married for 2 years?...I think the Enquirer had this a long time ago...trust that rag... Heard that SD was getting a load of Tstorms...can't tell you how much we appreciate Sammi's 2nd mom, BJ Mackle...who is taking care of her while we are playing... Got some feedback that Veep is a good show...OK...truth be told, I haven't liked any sitcom since "Friends"...maybe I am not much of a pixel critic...I defer to those of you out there that know 'em... Is it just me, or does our screening of the dudes who travel back and forth from the Middle East seem severely ...

Morning, kids...to say that this is "paradise" would be redundant...just beautiful...we have been basking in it all...some tidbits for you... It is 86* and humid...weird, as the global warming affects this area in a different way...oops, sorry Repubs, that's if it exists... Went to Java Jazz & Soup Nutz for dinner last eve...our friends, the Allens, fav hideout....cool place...nice wine and food...had a sanger, too... There are a billion people here for some reason...both in our hotel and in Lahaina...one is that there is a cruise ship docked in the ocean from Australia...they talk funny... We have 2 pools and they are both slammed!   First time in 14 years I can say that...BTW, got my gurl a watch for the anniversary and the shop owner said most people here are either from SoCal, Washington, or Oregon...and the Aussies...
