CRAZY HORSE

Record shattering, for the modern era...the House Repubs took 15 votes to get their leader . ..did you watch thus unfurl?...I did...it was real...and shows the unpredictability of the House...for the next 2 years... Kevin McCarthy is the Speaker of the House ...another Cali one, er won...succeeding the very smart Nancy Pelosi...the reason for the number of votes...the band of 6 that were 'never Kevin'...voters...seemingly led by Matt Gaetz... this photo I have of McCarthy, with the gavel, I reckon he wishes Matt's noggin was beneath it...joking, kids...I think... One learns so much about the mechanisms of how the voting goes ...if the Rep votes 'present' it is much like a 'I don't really care'...and figures in the tally of what is counted...I really think that some of the band of 6, didn't know this until this all got going...hidden underneath all of this drama, was the constant calls from trump...who will eventually claim victory for the vote...perh...

So much for the republicans winning the house...House of Reps, that is ...to follow the lead of the democrats, who voted in unison for the Minority leader of the House... the republicans have been failing and flailing ....for the Majority Leader...the band of 20 outsiders have put a blockade in the process...seemingly, tail wagging...as the other 202 republicans scratch their collective heads...what to do with them...you see, they need 218 to secure the spot...the band won't let them...asking for countless concessions, that are folly like...we are at an impasse... 11 votes thus far, 3 days of frustrations... Today at noon, east coast time...the House reconvenes to vote for the 12th time ...supposedly, there have been talks to persuade the band to coagulate with the others...I dunno, kids...these 20, most are heathens...seem to be forcing the Demos to step in...if so, they are without hand...some call this a 'shit show'...in reality, the end product of the trump follies...wh...

Mounting tension in the House...of Reps...DC ...where the republicans regained control...ah, did they?... the off shoot of trump lingers on...as 20 of his follies , are wagging ...non-conformists....to the new wave of the party...the trump era is gone...he even now...can't control them...not exactly sure, what they are...but, they won't allow the party to go forward...?...how long this lingers on, is uncertain... There have been 6 votes thus far...the band of 20 has stayed solid, and stubborn...they have no power, except this vote .. .Gaetz, Boebert, Jordan, and MTG the leaders ...so to speak...all outcasts, and willingly accept that, I guess...imagine after this is all said and done, there will be chaos following...ah, more chaos...for all the daggers the right have thrown, nothing compares...to the band of 20... Cali is on a storm alert ...like high rain amounts...none worse than where our son resides in Montecito...they are on a flood and landslide watch...he is ready for a ...

Time has changed what we do...the computer...the keyboard ...sending messages, emails, birthday wishes...you know, the things that we USED to do via the mail service..like with stamps and real letters... actually communicating with our very own hand writing ...nothing was better than getting a letter from home or loved one while away at college...right?...er, write...it is taught while at school...but, man, so much of what we say and do, is now via the bloody keyboard and the computer... almost makes the act an unnecessary learning point ... I always have marveled at some people's magic handwriting... cursive ...so flowing, and easy to read... the Horse has a scrambled mess...nerves, I wrecken ...my unbiased survey of one, thinks the better the writing, the less stress that person goes thru...almost to the point, that they are the ones that CAUSE stress ...this has no basis of fact...just a real Horse viewpoint... Which brings me to spelling ...the auto correct that most compute...

American football...can be a BRUTAL GAME !...mostly big dudes, who like to play it...an outlet for physicality...our present day gladiator sport...and we, the people, watch it...just like in the gladiator days...it's not like boxing, or MMA, or whatever that is...it's more of a choreographed match of teams...am I being naive?...last eve, in the NFL, a player collapsed after a collision...a tackle...not seemingly a monster hit...he stopped breathing...within 10 SECONDS, the physical trainers were there, on the scene, and administered CPR... as the football world, watched and waited, stunned ... The player is Damar Hamlin...24 years old and is hanging on for his life ...the official word is that he is in critical condition... real 'thoughts and prayer's are out from everywhere ...listen, kids...this can happen in any sport...that's why the physical is so important to allow a player, to play...I have no idea if there were pre-existing conditions...hope and pray for his...

You kids know what one of the great mistakes that people make...honor those so deserving, while they are ALIVE! ... not after they have passed on ...such is the case of the incomparable Barbara Walters ...ABC ran a terrific show about her last eve... her life, her start, her path, her remarkable run of a woman thru a man's world of broadcasting, her setting the stage for all women to follow, her interviews, and finally, her ensemble of women for 'The View'... Nothing compared to her interviews...how she studied the person, or persons, so much in depth, that she was PREPARED ...in as much, as she would surprise the guest...just a few, that stood out... Nixon, Castro, trump, Oprah, Monica, and the list goes on and on ...they were THE SHOW of the time...I watched many of them...not knowing how well she was doing it...now, I marvel at what she did...and leaving us all, with the women of 'The View' ...yes, I watch that, too...opinionated?...dang right...they should be......

And a glorious HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all! ...as we embark on a new one... full of promise, expectations, and knock out events...good health...always, a desire...going to throw in, new adventures...all positives to make this '23 a great one... The final 4 occupied too much of me time yesterday ...as the script was far from what the pundits (and the Horse) had predicted... TCU beat Michigan in an absolute weird game...the Wolverines were victims of two mighty strange calls (both from the review station)...yet, TCU did dominate the match...and in the late game...Ohio St had a chance for another upset, but missed a game winning 50 yd  FG at the end...recall what I said about kickers, a few blogs back?... Georgia won by one...for the champ, TCU vs Georgia...have no clue... Worry ...
