CRAZY HORSE

First of all, let's just say the one game wild card series is STUPID in MLB...all of baseball has at least 3 games in their series...and that's what it should be...BUT...as usual, the umps had a lot of influence on one of the WC games... You see, the bloody umps call something on every play in the game...whether it be a ball or strike or a play...so...they are surely going to miss one or two along the way...and this time it was a short fly to LF, with runners on 1st and 2nd...the LF ump, yup, the LF ump, called the infield fly rule...batter automatically out and runners return...and yup, the ball dropped into play behind the SS...brouhaha...and the fans went ballistic...Atlanta protested the game (waste)...they lose the protest and the game...and they are through for the season... There is no 2nd of all...I am tickled by all the smugness of the Repubs after the Mitt win...not so fast my friends...there are two to go...and Prez O will be back on track...and then...good thing...

And this time the lack of gas, car type, is NOT the gas companies fault...well, not necessarily...in Cali, there is summer fuel and winter fuel...really...and the winter fuel doesn't hit the market until October 29...and there is a shortage of summer fuel...really...so some stations are either raising their prices ridiculously or just stopping some pumps...sure is nice to be in a spot where we walk everywhere... USC looked anything like national champ type last night in their subdued win at punchless Utah...so says me...BUT...they have great speed in their wide outs and that proved to be the winning staple... Speaking of Staples, Mitt has been on a natural high after his 1st debate win...it's only the 1st round and don't rest on your laurels big guy...and when I mentioned on Facebook, for all of you that pop off about your candy man, do you VOTE?...my favorite response was, that you bet I will, 'cuz I have to cancel your vote...or something like that... Watched ...

Who was that masked man, Kimosabe?...it was Mitt...and he was prepared...and caught Prez O off guard...don't get me wrong here...it's not a knock out, but a wake up call...the Prez spent most of his time back pedaling and defending...and his attacks on Mitt were weak and lacked drive...it was a clear 1st win...and it doesn't get better...for awhile...as the VP's go at it next...and the young buck, Ryan, should have his way with Biden who was clobbered by Sarah 4 years ago, "I can call you Joe, right?"...let's just see how the BUMP goes until the next Prez debate on the 14th... Chase Headley won the RBI title in the NL...beating out the guy, Braun, who they were finishing up against...cool stuff...first time for a Pad since Winfield did it back in the 70's... The MLB playoffs...I'm just not that crazy about 'em... When was the last time a Beaver team was favored by 15?...and there are those out there that think they will even beat the Duck...

OK, OK, there are an equal amount of Repubs and Demos out there, that want answers... BUT ...how many of you have already made your mind made up?...sure, I am one of them blokes... BUT ...I want two good choices...so, if the public picks the other side, I can live with it...really, what a great process we have...imagine the plight of so many other countries that have but one choice... And, correct me if I'm wrong, the same type of promises have been made every single time the election selection comes up ...with the checks and balances of the country, little is changed...except, maybe the Supreme Court nominees, and even they are scrutinized by the other side...so...it becomes a battle of frustrations...a candy man can have a lot of unique thoughts, only to be brought back to earth, by the other side curbing the ideas...geez, so...don't get too excited by the choice... and OMG, the Super-Pacs...who is pulling the strings... Me thinks that there are way too many singing auditions on the tele now...if you count...the Voice, X Factor, Idol, and a multitude of others...well, you may see what I'm getting at...there just isn't that many peops out there to find... The backlash of the Euro win in the Ryder has hit directly at the coaching...which I alluded a bit to yesterday...but, the players play...and I still thinketh that the oldies acted like oldies and let it go.... Geez, the Cowboy's QB Romo is the most over-rated one out there...I've had him on my fine fantasy teams in the past and paid for it dearly...well, I had to get rid of the bloke...his performance last night was one of epic crap... Naw, it's not a Native American term ...it's what happened to the "Europeans" Ryder Cup Team in their shocking last day of singles...that got them the cup again...5 of the last 6 times...let's hit on a couple of notes... 1st of all the game... Being down 10-6 there were a lot of people counting the V for the US...not me...as there were some odd early pairings that Capt. Love sent out...which, if they backfired, and they did...would give the Euros... MOMENTUM ...they had 4 quick wins and had tied up the games...boom, like that!...And to put Tiger out last, it was a complete waste of a point ...and the enthusiasm that was needed... The veterans were just awful ...the two Capt. Love picks played excruciating slow and bad...in fact, they choked up like all of us duffers do on a regular basis... Furyk , has just completed a year full of failed finishes...and Stricker ... OMG ..he could not have had a more untimely space of his life to lose his game... And...

One more shot from Maui, Lahaina really...just prior to the dinner cruise aboard the Maui Princess... Are you watching the Ryder Cup?...no better team golf...it's down to the singles today...lurve the drama...USA! We went sailing yesterday on the bay...unbelievable!...I tell you the work that the boat owner, Dirk, and his 1st mate do...I'm not sure that they enjoyed it as much as we did...I guess, if they go out in to the ocean it's a lot easier on them...they will go to Catalina Island for fun... So, you lurve your Oregonian football?...watched both of the games...the Beavers are tough and are formidable...the Ducks, again, make great half time adjustments and polish off their opponent...don't underestimate their strength...as, like playing Tiger, everyone plays their best against them...OSU plays GREAT D...I mean it...we'll see how they match up, as they host the Cougs next week...count me number one, as I am extremely surprised...not a Riley fan...
