Not sure if there is a better rivalry game in the sport...the Army / Navy game...er, Navy/Army game ...whatever...the pomp and circumstance is wonderful...held in Philly...and today, they just may get some snow to play their match ...usually, the outcome is nothing more than bragging rights ...and is that bad?...nope, it's a spectacle all by itself... count me in as one who lurves it all ... 'it's good for the game' ... The Pads bid for the Japanese star kid...Ohtani ...fell short...duh...as he signed with the Angels of Anaheim...hmmm, did not see that coming...hey, SD is a bottom feeder ...just wait for the names we sign o...

The land keeps on a burning!...it is an absolute nightmare...as the fires are a flame down here in SoCal...the largest one is in Ventura ...that may be stretching all the way out to sea...the need?...for the Santa Ana Winds to die down...the kids have 6 people staying with them from the evacuated areas...you can just imagine how terrifying it is... Of course, the fear down here...was that there would be one pop up...and it did...up around Fallbrook ...massive flames and it wiped out a mobil home park...and then the worst news you could imagine...it veered towards Bonsall...where there is this race horse stable ... San Luis Rey ...where many of the fine animals live and practice their trade...like hundreds, even maybe a thousand... Not enough time to get them all out to safety...so, they just let them run...free! ...can you imagine?...those that they could get out, are stabled now at Del Mar ...the numbers that didn't make it are sketchy...just another part of the effect of t...

The reality is... we have global warming ...no greater example than down here in SoCal...with the lack of rain, we have way too many areas of dry, brittle conditions ...and...this is also the season of the Santa Ana winds. ..couple that together and get a spark...and the land burns!...with everything on it...imagine... Such is the fate of the FIRES burning right now...the two that are closest to homesites...are the Ventura one and the Bel Air ...for us personally, the Ventura fire keeps us on edge ...as that area is just south of where the kids live in Santa Barbara ...there is one road in and one road out...on the Highway 101...where the flames have actually leaped OVER the highway ...imagine, fires on both sides of the roadway... So many people affected...and the animals and all ...just a tragedy ...that we all must step back and hope...and pray that it burns itself out...problem is... there is more of a forecast of the high winds... It's the scare we have down here,...

Top of the morning to ya'll...can't think of a better Xmas duet song...than... This day belongs to the collegiate footballers ...who is in the Final 4 ...and then the dominoes fall...for the naming of the bowl participants, throughout the land...some minor upsets yesterday, that will make the number 4 entry verrrrrryyyy interesting.... Georgia clobbering Auburn, brings 'Bama back into the conversation...and judging by the game, the Bulldogs are mighty good...and Ohio St beating Wisconsin...I dunno, I figured that to happen...and there you go...
