It's our 39th anniversary today, kids...and this is one of our traditions...spend 2 weeks in Maui...at Kaanapali Shores...and the dinner is always at Ruth's Chris...little things, I suppose that make it work... Good lord, the Eagles have a season of doom ahead of them...I am afraid...as much as I want Chip to be successful, there are too many gaps in his team...the biggest being his QB...Mike Vick is...terrible...I wouldn't trust him as far as I could see him...and he is going to run the O?...Chip will have to bench him...and go with one of the others...which will create chaos around the locker room...brought about by Vick...AND...the defense is one of the worst in the league....there are those who will say it is the college system that doesn't work that Kelly brought in...not so...it's the band of characters he was stuck with...so...it will be a tough time...shoot...he's got a year to get the right people in...or he will be shown the door in the city of broth...

Certainly the meal of all meals on this island, is the trip to Paia...and eat at Mama's....without a doubt, the best fish I have ever consumed...for those of you who have traveled to Maui, you know what I mean....there are no words...or enough $...it is not cheap.... Yesterday, started with rain...so we scratched Napili Bay until today....snorkeling and bobbing on the worm....yup, the ocean water temp is that warm....wish that the Pinnacle would raise their pool's temp, too....so we could swim more..l It gets dark early, so you get thrown off of time....in bed by 9....what?...oh yea, Paia is the only place I can find Kustom thongs....the best, Jerry, the best....  Read a book about the history of Maui....from right before the second world war....until now....very interesting....these book thingers, where you can buy them online...and read on your iPad or Kindle...way cool...I am debating a Nook...so I can read outside better...the only prob withe iPad...not so with the Ki...

Have to admit it is tough getting use to the Hawaiian time zone...watched the Duck/Vol and Bama/Texas A&M games at 9:30 am...believe it or not, I pulled for the Tide...if the Aggies would have won, the press (and AP, in particular) would have gone crazy, for the entire season... Oregon looked great...as did Bama... I felt that the Eagles would destroy the Bolts today...far from it...as SD should have won by more...Philly has no D...at least today...made ancient Rivers look great... My fantasy team has to be the worst in the history of the creation of such leagues... Off to Whaler Village for some shopping and lunch... Aloha...
