Someone must have been reading my blog...and got hopping mad... Jed Gyorko's ears were a burning...well now...it was a Twittering by others, too...but...lo and behold...get the good Dr. down here...and BAM!...the 2B hit not only one dinger, BUT TWO!...and the last was a grand salammy!...6 ribbies...and you guessed it, the Pads beat one of the best slingers in the game...10-1...go figure...never, ever, bet on MLB...anyway, we had a great time...and it was so much fun watching SD win and score RUNS!... For OKC to go to LA and win...well, that just changes everything...and puts them in the driver's seat, don't you think?...and somehow...all the top 4 seeds emerge as the front runners.... PGA... the Players ...do you watch any of this?...that island green on number 17...it's just a wedge, well for the pros, and these blokes hit it in the agua like you or me...and I am in the lead in my pool...the key?...either Justin Rose or Jim Furyk catches fire and threatens the l...

Nope, not a finger mistake...it is Y...ha ha...as the Pads wasted a great outing by Ian Kennedy...against the Marlins...wow...the only run this hapless team mustered up...was Kennedy's home run...his only of his career...and the rest of these guys couldn't get another...and in the OT...a lackluster error, with 2 outs by way underachieving 2B Gyorko...led to a game winning HR by the Miami star, Stanton...just more of the same...BTW, Gyorko is now batting .146...time to drop this kid down...not working...certainly not our 4th hitter...what am I missing here?...and tonight...Cris and I go...I will spend most of my time trying to calm down the good doctor... Watched the final 4 last eve on Idol...and it's a one horse race kids... Caleb Johnson ...first time I can remember that I thought the guy was the best...he is incredible...a rocker...that can sing it all...OK, you remember that I have said that this was the worst final 10...EVER...it was...but he is the exception...that good...the other possible...is the youngster, Jena...who is a distant second...loads of potential...and of course, I have no idea how the voters who vote, will vote... Survivor ...and this guy has the biggest domination since Boston Rob...Tony...hmmm....the cop who has the rest of the crew at his disposal...and manipulates 'em like they are human sticks...and it's even worse than that...he's the villain, and they think if they can get in the final 3...NOBODY will cast their ballot for the evil dick...ha ha...not this time...he is the clear front runner... OMG!... the Pads sink to new depths in their latest smack down by the lowly (above SD) Royal...

Morning kids...does it seem to you that every, and I do mean every, newscast on the boob tube is of BAD NEWS! ...you have to look long and hard to find something positive...think of CBS's Sunday Morning...and that's it...and it doesn't stop there...every, and yup, every, newspaper does the same...all negative crap...who killed who, who was arrested, this country did that, who banged who, the weather did this, the republicans said this, the demos said that, and on and on...repetitive bs... For all the this, that, and whatever...for the GREAT play of the Thunder (Soopersonics), that all the east coast pundits throw at us...it was a mauling for the embattled Clips ...as LA did a West Coast Tattoo on the beloved OKC!...aw, it was a beautiful thing to watch...the 1st unit was unstoppable...game one...and get this...it's only one game...goes to the good guys... Pads ...gulp...I went to sleep with them losing in the 12th...ah hem...well...figured there was no way we would come back...and lo and behold...read in the Trib...that the unthinkable happened...Will the Thrill won it...and it's back to back walk off winners....KC started a real flame thrower...22 year old future star...Yordano Ventura...we countered with a beat down old vet...Eric Stults...who appeared like a batting prac lobber...as the Royals had 11 hits against him in less than 5 innings...go figure kids... DWTS ...now this is a bit biased...BUT...I did see highlights...and I have NO RESPECT at all fo...

This is a feel good story...the winner of the PGA event in Charlotte, North Carolina... J B Holmes . ..just two years ago he had BRAIN SURGERY...twice ...then went through a battle to get back...and had a series of injuries that were attributed to the extreme need to succeed...and return to the level of excellence that's needed to win on the tour... he's one of them long ball crushers...that seem to hit past the doom of the mere mortals...past the bunkers and agua that is set up for the 290 yard guys ...if there is a down side...he is extremely meticulous...er, SLOW...pick up the pace...for all of us hacks...and yea, he made a cool $1.2 million for the V... On the other hand, popular San Diegan, Lefty ...fell apart in the 4th and maybe needs one of them thingers that J B had...just kidding...but he does some mighty Q things...and had one time where he 4 putted from 2 1/2 feet ...really....and am going to leave HIM off my pix for the Players...have to come up with 5 blokes.....

It was the bet...and for the 1st time that I can remember, I missed the race...was enroute back home from the golf course...I'm sure I saved some $ that I would have put on some other hosses...regardless, I got $25 on the nose...and a guaranteed 4-1...so cool... California Chrome ...saw the replay...and was a clear cut winner... Had one of my better rounds yesterday... a sweet 81 ...and missed 3 3 ft putts...and am going back to my other putter...ha ha...the game is always in a constant state of change...at least, for CH... Did you see the end of the PDX /Houston game?...a winning 3 point shot by PG Lillard...and the Blazers move on the face the SA/DAL winner...that was so much fun...the 1st series win for them since 2000... And my other team, the embattled Clips ...went to the very end themselves to beat the GS Warriors (?)...did not see this, as we were at a dinner party...but did follow by game day on my phone...shame on me...and they now face the Thunder (Soopersonics)...
