The SOTU address got me going...not that the ideas and thoughts weren't already there...but made me mind wander to whomever the next blokes or blokettes are going to be involved with our selection for the Prez...not sure I said that right...the Dems are fixated on getting Hillary in this time...the hot numbers are her at 6-1 over any of the other weak candy people...so far, it's a one hoss race...and over in the Mugwumps side...well...it is so wide open, that I can't see putting any odds on anyone...which makes me get back to the $...start in Texas and see where their Super Pacs begin to filter theirs...always, always follow the money...

The Biebs...soon to be a man (?) without a country...well...he has taken his sorry act all over the world and punked himself into notoriety...it is what he wants, right?...his home, Canada, is doing something about it...seems that the brat got into an altercation with a limo driver...and he popped the guy in the head...and is getting hit himself with a charge....his lawyer says he is innocent...again...let's see, his pattern is to do mischief, then laugh at the laws of the world...you KNOW he is going to rub someone in the wrong way soon...someone or some country with enough gusto to do something about it....now THIS is what I want to see...

Russia is having a heck of a time insuring the safety of the Olympics...more info has surfaced that there are plans for an attack during the games...such a sad state of affairs for people that think that this is their lot in life...

Got Downton season 4...and watched the next episode...nuttin better...it's a desire to watch them all in one setting...

Eegads...what do you think?...these two are together...on a MTV Unplugged Show...obviously, singing, er, mimicking country...I just can't muster up the proper wording for this...OK, there is a lot of interest in the collaboration, right?...and you will try to watch...right?...

The Aztecs are now number 5 in the nation...what?...is this the same feeling that we had when the Duckees were wallowing in the elite of the football season?...well...maybe...as this team is there because of their D...and are not close to playing their best...really...it's a difficult league...this Mountain West...why?...there is so much more passion for the hoops than the football...just opposite of the Pac 12...it's nice...for now...ageless Coach Steve Fisher does a mahvelous job...

Looks like the weather just may work out for the Super Bowl...odds are down for the in climate stuff...like 20%...but, it will be cold...and the game itself...will go on...and the line is steady at 2...for the Broncos...take the points, kids...

Not exactly sure where to go with this...I am very disappointed with the Grammy's....like who votes on this?...geez, I guess I say this about most of these award thingers....and...at least they weren't lip-syncing...cheers out to Kacey Musgraves...who put out a very lyrical CD this past year and got some awards for it...the theme about gay marriage and all...touching...and the negatives...oh my...so many...the length in general was the biggest...3 and 1/2 hours...and why the country 4 did two songs and the Beatles did but one...why oh why?...if you can tell me why Beyonce is so decorated?...name me one song...just one...I mean, she is beautiful...but her act was Madonna like, right?...and speaking of that...why was M walking with a cane?...no idea who the Martian guys were that won all the bigs...ha ha...hey kids, it's all fluff...and window dressing stuff...and the big Q of the eve...where was Miley and the Biebs?....

The Farmers...who in the heck was the guy who won?...I can't even tell you his name today...looked to me like the big bomber was going to get it...and then he hit a Crazy Horse drive on 17 and lost the T there...my pick was Jason Day, who made a great run at it...ended up tied for 2nd with 20 other blokes...Tiger who?...

Downton Abbey...another great episode...as Bates is getting ready to settle up...this is good stuff, kids....and...you can buy the entire season tomorrow...which I will do...

Senescence

Good morning kids...it's been a beaut of a week around here...and there is way too much talk about the lack of rain...fall...eegads, where I am from that's a joke...anyway...the other babble is the golf tourney out at Torrey Pines...and who is NOT playing...and,  I am afraid that father time is taking over...as Phil Mickleson (alias Lefty) dropped out after 2 rounds due to a back prob...and then there was Tiger...who shot his worst ever round there...a 79!...and is out due to the 2nd cut...what?...a ploy that I hate...if you make the cut, you should get to play two more rounds...BOOM!...imagine how the crowd will dwindle today....

One of the blokes I picked to win it...20 year old Jordan Speith...is one back...I have told you this before...Torrey South is the longest track anywhere...and throw in the ridiculous length of the rough...it is NOT fun...it's pretty....pretty tough...and like the masses, I may watch...may not...

The Grammy's...another award thinger...and lordy...speaking of the time tunnel...the one and only Madonna...yup, her...is to perform...geez, give us a break...I know she was an "it" girl way back when...but she was marginally talented...and now...well...she'll bump and grind...and give us a look at what your girl Miley will look like in 25 years....ha ha...there is a Paul and Ringo collaboration, so they say...I am mildly interested...geez, I hate being negative...if you want the best, you must have Carrie there....and there are many others more deserving...

SDSU won at Utah...St...where there are bunch of loonies who attend their games....and have quite a huge following....HUGE...it's a thing in the Mountain West...and continue their trek...they win because they play D...take note Oregon...D...

The Blazers and Clips won again...PDX beat the TWolves...which have Coach Rick and All Star Love in tow...I am NOT a fan of the Love kid...he's good, but not nearly as talented as his reputation...so says me...is he better than LA?...no way, no how...I am not going to go where the racial thing is...am I?...
