I don't know where you are but the lightning around here was spectacular the other night...flew into it and have to admit...scared the heebee jeebies out of me.... Speaking of getting hit by it...the Magic were mobbed by the Lakers ...BY 25 points! The 2 best teams? I know I've gone here before, but what is the Jonas Bros ? I can see the teenybopper attraction, but.... there is no talent there ! If they went on American Idol , none of them would get to the final 32...correct me if I'm wrong... Have you caught the Conan version of the Tonight Show ? I have watched the last 2 nights and like him, the set, and the change .... Are Heidi and Spencer part of the Jonas Bros? So we got real close to buying a car last night. Eliminated the Prius ...too gimmicky...actually spent a good portion of the night working a deal on the Honda Accord ...nice rig and it is down to the Camry or the Accord ...it's all about the deal now...$ I'm a celebrity so get me out of h...

Here we are in the lightning infected area of Folsom, Cali near the home of the Sacramento River Cats ...the AAA team of the Oakland A's ... they are in the hunt as one of the best in the Pacific Coast League ...good on them... Back in SD the awful Padres lost again to the Phillies scoring but one run... Hairston was put on the DL and they brought up Venebal in lieu of Kyle Blanks ... Kooz is still at 3B.... Well my journey here is to help my son find a car for the next 3 years ...pretty much down to a Prius or a Camry , both hybrids ... any suggestions out there ?

Before we hardly sat down at the Padres game last night it was over...3 runs by the Phillies and Peavy was out...had the flu and he was a shell of the real guy...Wow...then Hairston goes down and this team is in dire straits... AGonzo hit another MLB leading tater and of course Kooz goes hitless and strands 6 ... Who are Heidi and Spencer ? And they are too big of stars to be in the reality farce, " I'm a star so get me out of here ?"...give me a break... Sanjaya is the real star there ... The President is in Saudi Arabia and continues to show that he is a true world leader ... Can the Pads salvage just one game at home vs. the Phillies ?

Upon watching the bottom of the 9th last night in the Padres / Phillies game I thought back to one of my baseball wishes ... replay . I believe there should be 2 options by each team to challenge a non-ball/strike call...that the right way is to be right...I know there are the baseball purists who say to leave the game alone ...the technology is here and it's way beyond time to use it ...OK, I've had my say... Tiger , yes that Tiger , is back into play this week at the Memorial ...the PGA has been out there and needs him back... A lot has been said about King James leaving the court without shaking hands after the Cavs defeat to the Magic ... my problem with the NBA is that most of the guys don't get it ... they get paid way too much and their egos are beyond control ... LeBron is a derivative of that... too big for his britches ...and nobody can tell them anything... Lakers over the Magic in 5... Peavy goes tonight and I'm going to head on over .... And...if...

I'm the here to cure the ills... General Motors ...the only out for the fledgling company is to put themselves up for bankruptcy...the fact is the company was so mismanaged that they got passed over by most all other car companies...that the others made more fuel efficient cars that became the demand of the people...the GM CEO had plenty of time to adjust and refused to do so...the brass then blames the worker's union amongst other things and refuses to build a better product...and now they pay the price and the US is worse off for it...my diagnosis is a rather simple one...borrow the idea that has made the Toyota so much in demand, get your hybrids out there and make some great cars...to compare this to coaching a football team, when there is a new and better system, everyone tries it out and improves on the system...get with it GM and do your country proud... So why is it so hard to make the adjustments and move with it? The aforementioned Toyota jumped on the scene first...

I'm just confused by: Why the Padres would trade a solid CF in Jodi Gerut for a AAA minor leaguer Tony Gwynn (has a famous daddy) and then stick him in CF ahead of the oh so hot Scott Hairston and then watch him botch two routine fly balls to give away the game to the Rockies ... Why the Padres would keep plugging Kevin Kouzmanoff out at 3B as he continues his horrible stint as a Major League hitter, which he is not... Why the Cavs would abandon their agressive defense on Superman and allow him to run free through their defense as the Magic move on to the finals to face the Lakers... Why the LPGA doesn't hire a better ad agency to get their players back into the spotlight...before it's too late... Why the North Koreans would be testing their missiles while they can't even afford to light their own streets... Why 100 million votes were cast by American Idol enthusiasts and we can't get any part of that for our presidential vote... Why all the reality TV...
