Normalcy

Is there such a thing?...being NORMAL?...what is that anyhoo?...what it is to some, it is to others, odd...abnormal...yes, back at the home...ah wondering what is in our future...as we contemplate our next venture...totally depends on the market...and thus, we shall see what is in the crystal ball...if anything...got it good right here in the homeland, that is for sure...however, a major move to the kids, would be a step in the right direction...Nashville, is out...as is Bend...

The Coup Committee, just reestablished the inadequacies of trump...his sole regard for preservation...an uglier look at him...if that is possible...using his pawns to try to overthrow the government...who does that?...trump does...what happens in other countries when a bloke does this?...executed?...thrown in jail?...run out of the country?...he should be thankful, that he lives in the USA...he is, just a deplorable, egotistical, bully of a man...a shell of what leadership should be...filled with so many character flaws, that he will be remembered as the worst president EVER in the history of our America...

Who was that team that beat the Mets in NY last eve?...surely, it could not have been the Friars...4-1, with the on again, off again 1B Hosmer, the star with his fungo...great pitching by Yu, and WE beat Scherzer...go figure...

Del Mar started up yesterday...the place was slammed, and they actually turned folks away...sold out...hoss racing is big down here, kids...it is the place to be...the ladies with their hats, and fine dresses...the men with caps and sport coats...that bring lots of scratch to bet on them awesome animals...have gone to one of the opening days, and it is a mad scramble...I wait for later days...'and away they go'...

We do have fun on our Cosmo trips...terrific rig that drives better than me Lexus...no kidding...and, the Boss can drive it too...a big help...

Make no mistake about it....quite often it is who you know...nothing better than having a dentist in the family...as we both got our teeth cleaned on this Cosmo trip...unplanned....Xrayed, too...he has a terrific practice...

Seeing the kids, is all we needed...as one more grandson is imminent....within the next 2 weeks...tell you this, they have dedicated their lives to their offspring...it is way cool...the 3 yr old is very bright and extremely active...Cy...proud of that rascal...

Walking by the Lagoon

The early morning walk...as the people in the area...mostly with dog (s)....meander about the lagoon...this shoreline...heads down...some with hoodies...hoods up...some bee bop and scatting...yea, there are others, just walking...the difference here and San Diego?...the lack of homeless....why?...

The weather is normal coast stuff...a tad bit cool...foggy...going in and out, during the stroll...the smell?...divine...too early for the breakfast aroma...the bacon...prevalent in RV camp sites...

It is the most serene feeling...clears your mind...assuming there is anything clogging it up...the view...the water...the seagulls floating about...the light breeze...it is...magical...

And as I am writing, there is now the bacon smell nearby...

Off we go to Santa Barbara/Montecito...this am...the clean up of ourselves and Cosmo...needed...BTW, this camp has 200+sites...we biked it all, and we were the only Class B...most have trailers...really...big honking ones...slide outs galore...and a myriad of massive trucks to pull em...Ford, Chevy, and Rams...very few others...

Everyone we talked to, wants what we have...when they get to downsize...get this, most all have a Class A RV, too...that they rarely use...

The All Star game...9 straight for the AL...another W in LA, 3-2...as we watched while dining at the camp restaurant...Boss had the bacon wrapped shrimp and I had the special, as always...this time it was 1/2 rack of ribs...dang tasty...seriously great eatins...and their super secret...the best damn salads anywhere...

Cosmo after Dark

This is Cosmo after dark...as we bask in a fire, a few glasses of the bubbly...ah, shorties...around the campfire...the weather is perfect, no need for the AC...we biked about the city...found this bodacious cinnamon roll site...obviously a treasured spot, as they run it like the Soup Nazi, see Seinfeld...this am, we dine on 2...today, we continue our search for the perfect fish San...it’s out there, we just have to find it...one more day here...then off to Santa Barbara...

The home run derby...the Soto kid won...he a future Friar?...talk about prayers...if, and that would be the word...we would be a real factor...

The All Star game...it has developed into a bit much...the red carpet...the hoopla...leave it alone...they even tweaked it if it ends tied...so what?...

The Horse continues to make rookie mistakes with Cosmo...today’s item was hooking up the water...filled er up, then thought I turned it off...but, I turned it all the way up...our grounds are now wet...Boss not happy...

Speaking of Soto, the reality is he will be a Yankee or Bum...what extra tax?...they just pay the best whatever they want...think there is imbalance in sports?...

On the road again...we are plunked down in Ventura...the old downtown is kinda cool...before departure, we will drive around and look at houses...you know, just in case...rollin down the highway...Cosmo drives better than my Lexus...FYI...this camp is full of them dreadful kids...isn’t this a senior site?...

Not sure how anyone drives, on a daily basis, through LA...miserable bloody traffic...not much better on the 101...if at all...
