There's this new book out called "Extra Virginity" and it's like getting raves and all...I just assumed it was about the Christian's Re-virginizing a worman...you know, the thinger that was popular just a bit ago... BUT, NO ...it's about the scandalous...very much so... world of... olive oil . ..and the tease is...you'll never trust the oil business ever again...oh man, it's the book of the year... Speaking of the year stuff...the plight of the Bachelorette contestant and winner, Vienna ...proved to be a most dislikeable person on the show...she showed her stuff on the spin off show, the Bachelor Pad...and now, she is making a scene on a yet to be released show about the same sort of stuff...well, the first article probably doesn't cover this one...er... Geez, it's hard being famous ...no, not me...but the young gals have a horrible time trying to stay on the up and up...from LiLo to Miley to well...you get my drift...being in the eyes o...

And I was beset with the same thing that the gals got ...and after a day of projectile...well, you know what...I spent the entire day, bedridden, with my trusty dog, Sammi...and my remote...and watched some "bowl games"... The Florida St and Notre Dame game...is it just me or are these things going on and on and on...and, as I have said for two years now, if there is a bigger jerk out there than the Irish's Coach...well, there isn't...he has to make sure if the QB makes a mistake, it was the player and not his...OK, if it was an isolated case, but every time?  Run don't walk future players of that guy ...boooooo...and, by the way, the "noles came back and won, in a brutality boring one... Baylor and the "awgs" .. .there is no D in Washington ...forget that...very wide open as the Heisman Winner Griffin the 3rd, showed to be a good one ...as did the Huskie QB...just wish the Bears could have played somebody decent...sorry Udub, but it's tr...

I need to rant about.... RUDE PEOPLE ...what's it take to acknowledge those who acknowledge you?...we have a neighbor that whenever you say "hey" he looks down and doesn't say a damn thing...I've tried, "good morning", "what's up", "how you doin", "great day, isn't it" ...now, I want to say " go ____ yourself" ...maybe I'll get a reaction that way... And you'd think that would be the only way...I held the elevator door for this bloke this am, as he was departing...and you'd think a thank you was in order ...nope, nary a word... Sure, most peops are great and are very friendly...but, in the negative, the rude ones bug the shit out of me...booooooooo.... Hey, break up the Blazers ...as they whupped the coachless Kings...it actually was on the free NBA channel...it's free 'til Jan 9 or so...haven't heard a price yet....but I usually get it, so I can follow PDX...the only prob w...

There is a change in LaLa land ...as the Lakers will absorb their lumps...for awhile...the cast of characters they possess are like...old for the pro hoops world...and with the NBA itself abolishing a trade to make 'em better...well...it's a happy "Beat LA" chant all over the land...and successfully....albeit, their center must sit out 4 games for the cheap shot he put on tiny Borreia in the playoffs...that won't suffice... Kobe is hurt and still a marvel at the game... but Lamar K and supersub Brown are gone ...Fisher is way over the hill, World somebody is, too...and Pau can't jump...and the rest of the crew were bad last year...and a year older...naw... the money will speak soon and this lineup will change... Did I say the chant will work everywhere?...well hang on to your toupee, kids...that same chant is being used for the....oh the shame of it... the Clippers ...certainly not a great group, but kind of fun...and much better than the other LA tea...

The very perfect Christmas Day was ruined ...as Leila and Marsha turned violently ill ...food poisoning...not sure if it was from Lael's or their lunch the prior day... Cris and I are fine ...so...not so good a finish to the festivities...in fact, just awful...fortunately, an emergency trip to the doc was not needed...thus far... Sammi is the best flu doggie...and won't leave their sides.... The NBA ...just a full day of opening games... the best? ...probably that the Heat are just that... the worst? ...probably the demise of the Lakers and the abysmal showing of the newly acquired Lamar Kardashian of the Mavs ... he got booted after scoring but a few....boo...and... the Hack-a-Shack tactic used by the new Warrior Coach, Mark Jackson ...who got rave reviews by his former TV cohorts...come on now, he's never coached ANYWHERE before now...boo...oh yea, it was on the Clips C Jordan ...geez, in the 1st game of the season?  Oh my... Outside of the sicky peops ,...

As our family has dwindled down in size due to natural causes...we think back of all the traditions that were on the table...large family dinners are of the past...now, we celebrate the day by going to Lael's at the Grand Hyatt Regency on the Bay....so easy for us...a short two block walk...and it's the Brunch of all Brunches. ..unlimited champagne with every food you can imagine...today is extra special as it is so warm...will get into the mid-70's...finish it up with a walk down on the bay front.. .Cris, Leila, Marsh, and I ...wow, talk about a small gathering...but, just right.... Since the NBA settled it's differences with management and the players...the season kicks off today....and I am mildly interested...especially with the west coast teams...you do know we get most all the LA Lakes and Clips games...but, I am still a Rip City believer at heart...
