Morning, kids...whenever I wear my plaid shirt ...it is a symbol of staying warm...used to be, I had a full closet of clothes...no longer...the condo life, makes one conserve...unless, you have deep pockets and can afford the higher floors...ha ha...my point?...I switched my background to PLAID to encourage warmth...as it is cold, rainy, and very windy here in SoCal...absurd weather pattern that has hit ...boooooo... The Inauguration was indeed splendid...the pomp and circumstance was incredible...regardless who is sworn in as the Prez...to see all the living ex-Prez there...was beyond words...exception was the very ill senior Bush...when the country shows the change of it's highest office...it's a point in time that we should marvel at the way it continues on... Now, the work begins...not without a number of people who feel that they should show their feelings about who the new Prez is...women's marches and all...fine...is this solidarity?...anyway, you KNOW my fe...

The country embarks on it's 45th Prez ...today...it's the celebration of the occurrence...seems more fitting, that we put aside our differences for one day, kids...and embrace what we have...and, certainly, the new direction and path we are on...hey, we say this every 4 or 8 yrs...it's true...I hear the opposition loud and clearly...why?...all timing, and it is wrong in my mind...nothing good to come out of that...let's let the process work it's way... For all of the major hoopla of the upcoming storms ...round one here was a fizzle...in fact, the day was actually really nice...go figure...well, the weather peops say round 2 will pack a wallop...OK, bring it on... The NBA named it's lineup for the All Star game ...my fears for the East, were unneeded...the right dudes were on it...same for the west...man, I never say that for MLB's version...of their AS...poor Westbrook was not named...not a fan...and many others feel th...

Major League Baseball ...the rights, er rites, of spring...pretty much lasts as long as the PGA Tour...ha ha...get to the point, Horse...the baseball writers, that have the honor to vote...do so for the prestigious Hall of Fame ...takes 75% of the votes to get in...so, obviously, a cherished momento for the deserving blokes...hmmm, you may not like the way it's done... some may equate it to the antiquated Electoral College... You see...I think it should be (the voters) made up of former players and managers...not these bloody pundits...however...that's the way it is...yesterday, this year's dudes who got in...3 of the 'roid years...who took 'em and who didn't?...some estimate as high as 75%...there is that number again...anyway... Jeff Bagwell, Rock Raines, and Pudge Rodriguez ...were the ones...former Pad closer, Trevor Hoffman ...definitely NOT a 'roid guy... got 74% and didn't make it...
