The lengthy discussion of a TRUCE , actually turns into a parable...Is it OVER, or NOT?...as we await the responses from both sides of the trump WAR...with the outcome, seemingly the same as when the debacle started over 100 days ago...what a waste of mankind...let alone $ to fund his war... It's Not Over 'Til It's Over

Thanks to Yogi Berra ... " It's Not Over Til It's Over " ...his saying...I reckon...as the 4th game of the NBA finals was a crazy one...unbelievable finish... as the Knicks were wallowing in a desperate mode...down as much as 29!...to the free-wheeling and 3 bombing Spurs ...the City was drowning in their tears...THEN, the thing in sports and politics happened...the MOMENTUM switched...and how...seemingly unstoppable when it does... The final minute was what all sports buffs want...extreme tension and excitement! ...as a miraculous tip in of a miss, was the difference in the end...as the opera finishes for the night, only when 'the fat lady sings' ...don't blame me, that is what 'they' say... and yup, the rich fat cats, jumped up and down...and celebrated like no other...so did the rest of the City...great teevee...for all of us who can't afford to be there in person... Coming back down to earth ... trump's military and Iran are trading ...

NCAA is a Mess

I guess it is not corruption...it is a lack of direction...the governing body of collegiate sports...the NCAA ...tried to ban a collegiate football player from playing...for betting on his OWN team (s)...it's happened over and over...as he switches schools via the PORTAL...this is so complicated and there are no real laws to govern what is going on...as Marvin Gaye sang 'What's Going On'... The players get paid...PAID to play ...not just the 'full ride scholarships' that once was the lure...the player I started all this about...is a QB, now at Texas Tech...Brendan Sorsby...played for Indiana and...Louisville...rumored to be paid around, get this, $6 million bucks...you read that right...say what?...yes, and this happens throughout the collegiate world of sports...where on earth does this type of cash come from?...alumni...donors...revenue from the gate...and?... I am talking a lot of money is bet on all the games...BIG TIME $ ...tell me, that there aren't sh...

Very Physical

Hey, gonna lead with the NBA game from NYC...as the San Antone Spurs CLEARLY outplayed the home team, them Knicks ...it was a very handsy game...physical...when that happens, it is frustrating when calls are made...why now?...the breaks went the Spurs way...the 3 refs on the game, were not the best of the lot...my own looksee....San Antone put the 7'6" Wemby closer to the hoop, and that was the diff...hmmm, the visitor has won all 3 thus far...hey, the hype for the match was great...and yes, the poopah was there...oh my, his pix was a fodder for most to BOOOOO...and they did...thunderous...wonder if he could hear it?...did he have his hearing aides in?...couldn't tell...are they orange?...$10,000 for a cheap seat?...wow...well, ABC has to be happy...if this goes the full 7...$$$$$$$...and it's all about the money... So much for 'Meet the Press'...as trump goes on the news show...to talk...his version of whatever...yes, kids the interviewer was another lady...oops...Kristen Welker...the telecast went south quickly...as he did his normal...if he doesn't win, then it is rigged...the voting...if he wins, then it is run properly...egads...his banter ran to California...the Governor's race...she wanted to move it to his 'acting' DOI (his DOJ), Todd Blanche...never got there...as he went off on the voting issue...accusing Cali of rigging the election...blah blah blah...he couldn't get past it...when Ms Welker pressed him for proof of his allegations...his orange face exploded!...did his unfortunate norm...attacks the woman...name calling...and said this to her..."you're either crooked or you're stupid!"...then, abruptly, gets up and walks off...cancels the 'Meet the Press', immediately... The election?...the Demo Bacerra has overtaken the Repub Hilton...

You Want Cheetos With That?

The Horse fancies himself with self-knowledge of some alcoholic drinks...the bourbon, the beers, and the wine...you know, adult beverages....once in a while...Little Big Town sang about this in one of their groovy songs...a great listen...anyhoo, we were stationed at a most bodacious swimming pool right here in Temecula...at the Pechanga Casino...no joke, kids, it is exactly like the ones in Vegas...humongous, multiple pools, one for kids, and the bigger one for the non-kids...we were of the most adult ones there...scantily clad waitresses and a swim up bar...with a DJ rocking the sound...cost us $55 a pop to get in, as we were staying at the RV...if at the Casino Hotel, it is free...sort of...get to the point Horse...so, it was like noonish, and I ventured out of my norm for drinks...had a Bloody Mary, which was good...but no accoutrements, you know (sorry CC) no celery olives, the lot...and then...went totally off the board...'give me a Vodka Tonic!'...wooah...and she said to...

The firing back and forth, during a TRUCE?...not sure how that works...but that is exactly what is going on in the trump WAR, with Iran...talk about curious... whatever happened to the 'trump was going over the settlement...it is on his desk?'...what we are told...can you believe anything?...duh...
