OK, the Horse gave it a go...watched a FIFA match between Mexico and Ecuador last eve ...enticed by the neighbors from HH, Ann and Santiago...it was FUN!...the emotion, the stress, the abilities...all wrapped up into one...as Mexico scored 2 goals in the 1st half and hung on for the W....in the knockout round...I could SEE the skill in action...yes, I was pulling for Mexico...BTW, do they have nicknames ...you know (sorry CC), like the Friars, Yankees , Bums, etc?....(damn Yankees?)... There is this passion, WORLDWIDE for these games...it's cool ...one of our starters out at Singing Hills , flew out to Atlanta to see the England match today...the USA plays Bosnia and Herzegovina (?) tonight at 5 ...guessing in LA...by knockout, if you lose, you go home...win, and play on... Good morning, kids...with the Journal headline for the day...I was thinking that we had another anagram to try to figure out... Doha ... dead on his arse? ...no, no that... done opened his arc? ...nope...well, I could go on guessing...turns out to be yet another geography lesson of the day... Listen here, Iran... STAND DOWN! ...here we go again...terminology that makes us scratch our collective heads...am assuming this means, pull back your arsenal for a bit...actually, to both sides of the trump WAR...in this seemingly non-stop abrasion of a 'ceasefire'...they hit, trump hits, and back and forth it goes...trump now says talks are imminent...according to Al Jazeera , that is NOT happening...guess it is up to whom you believe...again... The barrage of commentary on Russia...that hit the web net...is that Vladimir Putin was in danger of being OUSTED as the leader of Russia ...his lack of closing the attack on Ukraine , the reason...in fact, the constant hits on the capitol...Moscow...not sure how the regime changes happens there...but, it may happen sooner than one thinks... hey, if he has to go, release what he has on trump ...thus far, it is all speculation...as this am, the chatter about it, has lessened... Here it is, the gateway to the weekend...and alas, there is nothing...well, headlines, that dominate the web net ...this, that, and everything...that's a good thing...so, let's do the Horse bit (ha ha)...it's a time to celebrate the Beach Boys ! ...they are here, ah, over at the Shell...playing WITH the San Diego Symphony ...say what?...man, that spelling of symphony looks weird...wonder what bloke came up with that?...I digress...the lone Beach Boy left in this group, is Mike Love ...we are in the outer banks of the stadium...in the grass...with a blanket and beach chairs...kind of fitting, right?...at least I know they will play all their hits, not like the Dylan dude ... Let's take a short trump break, well, at least to start ...we watched the flick ' Song Sung Blue ' on Netflix...man, I can't recall the last time we went into a movie theater...years for sure...many years...back to the screen...we were reluctant to watch it, thinking it may be cheesy...my oh my, surprised!... Lightning and Thunder. ..it was fun, mostly...then drama... Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson were the two stars ...he really was worthy of awards, which he did not get...she was nominated and then, got zero...the surprise was the role of Michael Imperioli ...and his abilitites to play the guitar and sing...had no idear...he was a strength of the Sopranos ...and another Montecito guy...based on the two singing the songs of Neil Diamond ...who has a monstrous amounts of hits, that he sang and others did too...my personal one, was in my post-collegiate days...groovin to ' Cracklin Rosie '...and my days at the Museum...holding court on their only pool table, drin...
