You know the story here...I have the NBA package and watch all the Blazers games...they are on a downer as they DON"T PLAY DEFENSE! Probably the worst offender is their star, Brandon Roy...who switches everything, apparently to conserve his strength for his offense...just watch their rotations and you'll see what I see...there are some who do work, Rudy being one...but he comes off the bench and really needs more minutes...Hey kids, it's there...they just need somebody to light a fire beneath them...until then, you are going to be frustrated... This is a huge day for the Dux faithful...can they hang a loss on the Wildcats in enemy territory? I'm really looking forward to it... GO DUX!

Well, I am 44-11 for the season...and no Snook, they're not patsy games...D-1 are tough games...OK enuff of that...here goes: The Dux over the Wildcats...more hope than reality I fear...high scoring, fun game OSU over WSU...watch out for this one...way closer than the spread Stanford over Cal...Bay area bash and there is no stopping the Cardinal...and the Bear folks are after Tedford's job... OSU over Michigan...the Wolverine coach may be dismissed way early on his contract... Utah over SDS...rebound game for the Utes...can the Aztecs show some life? naw... Now that the Lakers have all their parts back, they are the formidable team in the league...it's all over The Bolts at the Broncos...I see a huge game for the Chargers...look for the big wide outs to have monster games... We are finally well! It must have been the swine we had...fever, chest cold,...right? Glambert releases his CD next week...you interested in it?

It has been a shoot out before, when the Dux and the Arizona Wildcats meet up...it will be a game much like the Cardinal/Dux game...lots of scoring and wondering if there was any tape looked at by the defensive coaches...the Stoops boys know this is their chance to get to the Rose Bowl and it is a playoff game...the line is 6, favoring the visitors ...a donnybrook, a colossal one, a track meet...52-48...my heart with the Dux, my $ would be with the Wildcats, hiding in wait for this one... On to hoops...PDX has lost the services of the very selfish TOutlaw to injuries...and I think it makes them better...for the ability of him to score, he takes horrible shots, and is one of the NBA's worse defenders...Rudy gets more minutes and the ancient JHoward gets on the floor to add stability to this very young team... Bud Black got 2 votes for manager of the year...OMG Feeling better all the time...

It's firing time in the world of sports...and the coaches, managers, etc. get put into the infamous hall of shame...many times it's unworthy, yet, it is what it is...the Buffalo Bills got into the action firing Dick Jauron...half way through the season so they can save the other half...give me a break!...PSU let their FB coach go, former NFL guru Jerry Glanville...UNLV fired Mike Sanford after 5 seasons as he was bowl-less...who's next? Gotta think Chas. Weis has but a few days left at ND....Colorado has to be looking around...WSU has to be saying there must be better somewhere, anywhere...the Raiders have to get rid of that mess...as does the KC Chiefs (?), as he is way out there...you know, USC has had some problems here lately, may they let Pete C go? Just kidding, there...the NBA has already had one firing in New Orleans after only 8 games...how does Dunleavy keep his job with the Clips...or really, the little boy running the Nets, what's up with that? As we approach the holiday for all you white Americans, Thanksgiving, I can't help but think of the perfect turkey...regardless of whether or not, you were actually sharing a meal with the hostiles...aka "Indians"...see Washington Redskins, the fighting Sioux of SDakota, the Cleveland Indians, the Atlanta Braves, etc...it still bequeathed a symbol of a bird, prepared just so that we all could share it's meat...as time has gone on, even the savages picked up your tradition and , voila, it is accepted even in native lands...that what you call reservations...I digress...it's been a good long while that the white man defeated the natives and all this jibberish about color of skin has been laid to rest...oops, there I go again...back to the feast...the perfect turkey... Brine it, deep fat fry it, barbecue it, bake it, bag it, baste it, buy it, de-bone it, roll it, faux it....there's just so many ways to get your perfection done...the key is to have someone else do ...

For being considered one of the best all time NFL coaches, NE's Bill Belicheck pulled the biggest gamble last night in Indy...on his own 28 with a 4th and 2, with less than a minute to go in the game, and he is leading...he goes for it! Doesn't get it...and leaves the ball in the Colt's Peyton Manning's hands on the 29...OMG, 3 plays later and the Colts win...biggest coaching blunder I have ever seen on that level...and he's trying to rationalize his play...OMG! The more I hear about the Sarah Pahlin book, the more I am loving it...oops that's sarcasm...just what does she thinks she is? Doesn't she know she's a politician? Hilarious... Taylor Swift garnered a bunch of CMA's the other night and it's cool she's getting the perks...but...not so fast my friend...she is a breath of fresh air in that market, but for the younger set for sure...she has a marginal voice that has lots of appeal...but better than McGraw, Chesney, Strait, McBride, Und...

Are you excited for the new Sarah Pahlin book? Yup, I thought so...Michele Wie won her first in Mexico...I was 3-2 in my pix and am 44-11 for the season...the Bolts in a huge win over the Eagles to move into first in the west...the Dux move into spot no. 11 in the BSBCS...the Beavs are now in the top 25...SDS gave up 21 in the 4th and lost a game they should have won...hit the links with Cris and Leila and coughed the entire time...please get over this cold!...Tiger held on and won in Australia against a bunch of nobodys...and you say I'm a rogue...
