Alas, the government will be back up and running, at full tilt...for 3 weeks...as the current inhabitant of the White House, gave his nod... 'get it back in biz' ...without the funding for his Trump Wall, included in the OK...there are countless kudos to be given out...none more than to Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer , for standing up to him...pay our people, get them back to work...and let's get this whole thing worked out... Beneath the aforementioned announcement, was the FBI raid and arrest of Trump's long time confidant and advisor, Roger Stone ...obstruction of justice and lying, were part of the 7 items he was charged with...this is the 8th member of the committee to get Trump elected, to be rounded up...charged and most, incarcerated...but, I want go back into time on this one... Back...like in '14 or so...when the idea came up that Trump would put his name in the hat, to run for the Presidency...a gleam in someone's eyes...as he was deciding...

I am going to lead with this... the Futures are significantly UP this morning...despite fears that are out there...so, is this going to be the indicator for the day's trading on the Market?...keep a keen eye out on it...thus far, the trend has followed... My topic yesterday, Venezuela , has only gotten mild coverage in the papers and pixels...odd, as it is a HUGE issue...as it appears that Maduro is not backing down ...so much depends on how their military reacts, and to whom they show allegiance...and, the underlying US guys in it, are VP Pence and SOS Bolton...stay tuned...all the while, our diplomats in Caracas, are huddling down, fearing...what may come next... In the States, breaking news this very early am, is that the FBI has raided the home of another Trump '16 election staff member... Roger Stone ...and ARRESTED HIM!. ..this is orchestrated by Mueller...will be charged with 'obstruction and lying' to the investigation committee...let's do a count...

Lost in the internal struggles of our country , there is a huge upheaval going on in THIS country south of the border...well, way south...actually in South America... Venezuela ...a challenge in power is being bantered about...listen, kids, it could explode...and we may be involved...with Russia...over it...egads...we need to talk... The reigning leader is Nicolas Maduro ...from their United Socialist Party...whatever that means...or represents...well not for long...as this is where 'WE' get into it...our guy Trump, has stepped in...oh my, and declared that 'WE" recognize the NEW ruler of Venezuela as the opposition leader , Juan Guaido ....yes, in essence, have sided with whom Trump wants to deal with... Maduro doesn't take too kindly to the meddling of the US in his country and it's politics...and gave the United States Embassy people there, 72 hours to EXIT his country ...get outta dodge...setting up a stage of severe unrest...and, to make matters wor...

Morning, kids...the Horse is starting his day off listening to the one and only, Frank Sinatra ...his best CD...with the full band...unbelievable...the words, people, the words...you can hear them and relate...or try to...for those of you out there, who don't know who he is...it's your study time...find his music on iTunes...or, find a CD somewhere...maybe a vinyl...my fav?...how about 'The Way You Look Tonight?' ...there are many to choose from... In his never ending cover of his boss, Rudy Giuliani , who flubs up most statements that he is supposed to release to the press...er, give to the 'Fake News' outlets...his latest, is the Trump Tower in Moscow ...the TTM Proposal ...that was shelved due to the run for the Presidency...or, was it?...just another issue out there...a layer, if you will...and I will... Rudy spills, then meets with Trump, then recants, then talks. .. 'hypothetically speaking' was the excuse...c'mon, dude... It was a time back, but the Speaker of the Senate, Paul Ryan , was riding high as the voice and leader of the Repubs... he abruptly quit, and we are talking politics ...for now...seemed odd at the time...figured he wanted no part of any connection to Trump...wait until he is gone, and then get back in...I could have been right on, ALL along...as a new tell all book is about to be released...another of the inner circle workings in the present White House...that describes the tongue ...

The Horse missed both games yesterday...favored the home teams in the semis for the NFL playoffs...I told ya to not bet 'em...forewarned you...

Back to normal , that is...here in SoCal...are we through with the rain?...yup, tee shirts, shorts, and flip flops ...this is why we moved here, kids...this is the day of the semis in the NFL...which pits the 4 best teams in the league...I reckon'... The first one has the LaLa Rams at the Norleans Saints ...of course, a toss up...the Horse has the home team in a nail biter...so much depends on the D of the Rams...if they can handle the quick throws of Brees, then, they have a real shot...and can NO stop the running of LaLa?... The 2nd is the Pats at the Chiefs ...another toss up...how cold will it be?...snow?...terrific viewing for us, and not so for the participants...NE's Brady with his quick throws, like NO's Brees, are really hard to defend...but, the speed of KC might very well be the diff...the Horse goes with the home team, here, too... Do NOT bet on my picks... Makes no difference what is your heritage, but the taunting of the Native American drummer ...
