Arguably the best rock album of...well, a long time... The country takes a break this weekend...and watches the gala event of the year... the Super Bowl ...are there more parties for this than any other?...ie, New Years, Halloween, Mardi Gras, etc...maybe...the most bet on, I'd reckon... New England vs Atlanta ...this year it's held in Houston, Texas ... You may get in one of them 10 by 10 grids ...buy a square or two...the prices varies...usually pays off for the score at the end of each quarter...there are other things, too...sometimes for every score... a lot depends on how much each square costs ... Nachos, sliders, wings, etc...the normal fare (fair?)...plus plenty of the Budweiser ...BTW, that company does make some great commercials...there are peops who bet on that, too...and, many watch them as much as the game itself ...right?... How many times have the former San Diego Chargers played in the Super Bowl...this the 51st time of the game?...once...yup...one time...bye bye Spanos...and the whatever you are ridin...

I'm surprised that those leading the revolt haven't hooked up with Crosby and Nash ...to use the song of "Immigration Man" as their theme...one of their's back in 1972...actually written by Graham Nash ...and sang with David Crosby ...you know of 'em... 1/2 of CSNY ...couple of things...what I termed 'hooked up' has different connotations now...ha ha...and...Graham and David have another one of them 'Feuds' brewing...and aren't talking to each other...let alone performing...in fact, Crosby is coming to Humphrey's in April...the act is called 'Crosby and Friends' ...hmmm, wonder who the friends are?... Morning, kids ...how ya"ll doing?...just for kicks, I went back...way back...to the beginning of my blog writing...it started with a paragraph...geez, I must have had maybe 5 readers then ...maybe less...amazing how it has evolved...anyway, here we go today, 1/31/17... Feud ...and it's a doozy...someone has stood up to Chuck...you know, Chas Barkley ...the former NBA star...who now is an anchor on the TNT telecast of the NBA games... he is along side the host, Ernie Johnson, and 2 other NBA former stars, Kenny Smith and Shaq ...it's an often comedic side to analysis of the games...sometimes it's more true stuff... Chuck stepped on LeBron James a bit... called him out for not being the proper leader ...of the Cavs...what?...the King (LBJ) may not be the very best player in the league...but NOT the face of the Cavaliers?...struck a nerve with him...and he lashed out and back at Barkley... Reminding us all about what Barkley did in his playing days...certainl...

The US just woke up ...and so did the world we live in ...the newly elected Prez is doing what he said he'd do... make it tougher to get into the USA ... The Travel Ban ... that affects the 7 countries that  were named by the former Prez O ...that have had history of harboring terrorists...there is an instant reaction to his decree...I guess that is what one calls it... Of course, the Hollywood peops are leading the revolt ...witness the SAG Awards statements...no surprises...there are many others doing the same...however...have you read the order?...you know, kids, we have been monitoring who goes in and who goes out for some time now...just witness what we go thru at the airports...and, since 9/11 the CIA has been more vigilant... Is this just yet another step in finding the bad peops?...like he said he'd do...and...for you up in arms...where was this passion 6 months ago when it would have made a huge difference in the voting?...rather than after the fact... did yo...

The logjam is at the TOP ...of the Farmer's T ...with so many blokes just a few strokes within of each other...it shall be a donnybrook of a finish...kind of think it just may take over time to find a winner...shoot, even Lefty is only 4 back ...BTW...the weather was splendid...nary a bit of wind...the leaders going into the final round at -9...
