CRAZY HORSE

The weather here is just phenomenal! It's 84 everyday...the cruise was so cool...the meal not so much...half way through, they switched over to sail driven...beautiful scenery...OK Maui is just that... Last night for the birthday meal it was Ruths Chris...best filets anywhere... Today we go snorkeling at Napili Bay... Trying to catch some football, but the timing is so confusing...as you can see no pix until I get back... Aloha...

The biggest difference we have run into...the 3 hour time...wake up at 4 ....it'll take a bit to conquer this.... Watched a very cool Luah dancer program...hit the beach twice. Shopped and ate lunch at Bubba Gumps....just a Great day. Today we are going on a dinner cruise...actually bought this through Costco when we arrived... Great news about the Chilean miners.... Go figure the stock market... Miss Sammi bad.... Good thing we are not staying at the Hilton...the workers are striking... Outside our room, the birds are going crazy... Loving this Kona coffee... Everything is sooooo expensive here... Cereal 5 and 6 bucks each for example... So I watched the debate of Delaware...you know the non-witch lady vs. The normal guy....OMG By the way, the political ads are negative everywhere...the Hawaii stations have the same crap...it's time for change in the way that goes... Peace...

Here we are in the Islands....in Kaanapali..beautiful hotel called "Kaanapali Shores". Spectacular...as we watched the sunset...we are right on the beach....2 pools, and 2 spas...restaurant, bar...get this, too many people at Thrifty....long wait for a convertible...so we took a SUV for the same rate...so we're driving a boat around... It just may be a snorkel day at Napili Bay...

Straight to Hawaii ...yup the beautiful island of Maui beckons us...OK, enough of that this am... What is getting to me today?  The ludicrous play calling of the Chargers ...as they got whupped by the Raiders at Oakland...it's going to be a crazy year in the NFL...check out the plight of the Cowboys ...but the Bolts...they are the worst prepared club of them all...and their special teams look well...there is not enough negative adjectives and adverbs to describe them...2 consecutive blocked punts to start the game... OMG ...you should hear the banter about this around this city... I can't believe this...I'm actually pulling for the Giants ...baseball now...and the ridiculous tomahawk gestures by the Atlanta fans...geez...and the Redskins at Washington...aren't we passed this now?  Why aren't the Jets the Jews ?  Or, the Detroit Lions the Blacks ?  Or, the 49ers the Yellows ?  You get my drift... Just read the Trib. ..got to admit... Coach Norv is not ...

A few more days and we are on the grand island of Maui .  We're going to stay in Kaanapali and NOT taking our clubs.  If we play, we are going to rent 'em and complain that they are no good.  Someone once told me that being born in October that made me a Libre .  I have never figured out what that significance is.  If you rule your life by the stars you are in trouble my friend.  So says me. Wow!  I took a big hit on my pix yesterday!  5-5!  (21-9, overall)  I had that feeling on USC , the other one, South Carolina.  Paves the way for the Ducks to move up a notch to number 2.  However, Oregon's  QB got injured and that has got to be a major setback. I am out there on SDS , as they got beat by the woeful Cougars.  Great win by the Beavs at Arizona.  But they also lost their wideout Rogers, for the season.
