OK, let's do this another way...Crazy Horse has always wondered what China (and Russia) does to combat the Covid 19 virus...ah, and it's variants...yea, donny said it was their fault in the 1st place...do they use Moderna, Pfizer, or J&J?...or have their own?...pharmaceutical company?...I still dunno...they do have their own phones and company...which is renown for it's strength everywhere but in the USA, Huawei...there are others...

The car...do they use ours, Japan's, Germany's, England's, South Korea's?...ah?...looks like they are doing just fine, thank you...they have more than 10 major ones...the top is the Geely...and MOST of them are copycats of the aforementioned country's models...as per usual, they do their own thang...and they are mighty impressive, too...I had no idea of this...they have one that is eerily similar to the Bentley...BMW, Benz, VW, and so on...really...so many of our things are made there, makes sense that the car was, too...just never heard of them, until yesterday...

The Covid and it's variants...so out of control...I fear that most everyone is going to get it...sorry, for my downer...but, like the flu...it has been too hard to contain...the vaccines, will lessen the severity...so, it seems...I hope that is true...what gets me the most, is that the 'experts' appear to be not 100% sure of what they are telling us...

Anyhoo, we are doing our darnedest at isolating ourselves...within reason...not going out for a sit down dinner...masking purnt near everywhere...not flying...I think Boss Lady is getting restless...but, she is laying down the law, as it pertains to us...

2nd semester for the schools...what is the right thing to do?...virtual learning?...does that work?...I talked to those who teach it, and it does for some...but all?...nope...many students don't bother...and grading is a nightmare...I would think so...tuff times, kids...

Sports continue on...the crowds are still there, albeit not as many as normal...do see empty seats...masks worn by most...in enclosed arenas...?...I am doubtful...outside?...better...but, football fans are different...throw caution to the wind...

A Year Later

In the past 100 years of the existence of the United States of America...there have been 3 known attacks on this great country...Pearl Harbor, New York City + Pentagon (9/11), and the Capitol...the last, a YEAR ago...call it what you want...an insurrection, a mob hit (of sorts), or in reality, an attempted coup...you forevers, will not want to read on...for months of planning, by the regime in power...trying in vain to regain the office of the presidency...not by the vote of the people, but by bullying the VP Pence...then, by overthrowing the Congressional in this horrific show of strength...all the while, trump enjoyed what he saw and did NOTHING!...until the vagrants had entered the hallowed halls of the building...the offices of the elected officials...and then, onto the Congressional floor...

It will always be etched in my mind, the power of a mob...but more than that, at the doorstep of our very own ruling body...with our leaders in it...hiding for their very own safety...the chants of 'kill Pelosi'...'kill Pence'...and others...makes me as mad as I can be...who dictates this sort of thing?...who watches this with a smirk on his face?...and yet, there are those who still want him as their leader...good lord...

There is no place in the land of freedom...for such an insurrection...with the ability to call it off, and did not...until it was too late...the out going president, trump, shall be held totally accountable...let alone be the planner of it all, in the first place...5 people lost their lives...countless injuries...and later, over 700 attackers, part of the mob, convicted in a court of law...to prison time...

As HE saw a scheme to overturn the vote of the people...in his loss for the job he so wanted to stay in...to slay the Constitution...in his own way....is this not an act of a dictator?...yes, kids, we still have that guy out there...wanting to be in his ousted position...and there are those who want him back...do not downplay your voting rights...ever...do not become a silent participant...we need you all...

Be strong...be vigilant...be aware...and be part of the system...our Congressional one...I expect today will be filled with news about this day, a year ago...certainly, from all but one of my sources, FOX, ha ha...the video of what happened will absolutely chill you...it does me...and this...some have called this an anniversary of Jan 6...not moi, as I perceive an anniversary of something, a good thing...this was not...

Just a horrific day for the stocks...the 5th...something about the interest rate...I reckon...will never ever figure that out...makes no sense...

My golf club...did this...for a guest, who is walking the course...raised the rate of play from $35 to $60!...not to $40, or $45...but $60!...what is the deal?...71%?...heard people squawk...then noticed the course down the road, was packed...wonder what the rationale was?...

I am confused...are the pro leagues now letting players play, if they are not vaccinated?...protecting whom?...pretty much at a loss as to what the governing bodies are doing with this...

The collegiate world is abundant with coaches leaving their job, for another...makes sense then, that the players can do so, too...used to be, once you were at a school, that was yours...not anymore...transfer portal is booming...for the coaches, too...'what have you done for me lately?'...

NFL game 17....week 18...the game of games...the Chargers at the Raiders...winner gets the playoffs...loser gets the golf course...UO's Herbert, is my guy...so, I have to go with them...reluctantly...too bad they are not in SD anymore...

Watching the line on the Georgia/'Bama game...2 1/2 fav the Dawgs...hmmm...would not wager against Alabama...ever...and getting points on top?...seems like a no brainer...

Finally, get involved with our political system somehow...at least, be more aware of what is happening...

It has been said, that in their heyday, the Beatles could read a newspaper (what's that?), take a look around them, and watch the telly...and come up with ideas for songs...many of the hits from Sgt. Pepper were done just like that...who knows about the 'White Album'...as they got into the 'doobs'...they did have pent up emotions that came out, too...as most of us from that era, dug whatever they released...actually, could hardly wait for their next album...and NOBODY, I mean NOBODY, covered songs of the past like they did...'Twist and Shout'...

For no reason at all, it reminded me of the infamous Chuck Berry...who was talented galore...but, a strange cat for sure...we saw him in concert and were dumbfounded...as he played 5 songs, then left the stage...really...who knows why...but, the lights came on...we all booed...and that was that...

I guess I am starting with music today...as we were preparing the din din last eve...we asked Siri for some Johnny Mathis music...first of all, she tried to sign us up for some monthly music subscription...ah, NO!...and then she said, 'here are some songs that are from that genre'...well, something like that...'Chances Are'...played...man, he was and is, the BEST...

The Horse watched a college hoop game last eve...used to never miss 'em...but, since the game has changed, have little interest...flipping channels and stopped on the LSU/Kentucky one...was mildly surprised as the Bengal Tigers play DEFENSE!...out of maybe 185 D-1 schools, they have to be one of 10 that do...as LSU won it at the end, cuz of the D...(SDSU does, too)...

I will give you that Lebron is playing well right now for the LaLa Lakers...but, as his elder Laker players have said...like out loud...'act with class'...they are not happy with his showboating...would Kareem do this?...no....would Magic?...nope...would Elgin?...never...would Jerry?...not on your life...

25 Things BAD For You

This rather attractive headline caught me eye...can't recall the source, but it is written, so it must be the truth...the top 25 things that are the most unhealthy in the super...like, market...talk about opening a can of worms...there are thangs all over the place that figure under that headline...but, they said the TOP 25...for clarity, the WORST 25 would have been better...somehow, the donut didn't make the list...perhaps, they meant the most surprising 25...I dunno...

The reliability of the article came under scrutiny right away, as the numbering system started at 35...thus, they listed the worst 35 instead of 25...guess the first 10 mentioned, er listed, are not that bad...or not as bad as...the TOP 25...er, WORST...here's the deal...I eat many of the items on the list...this is not a good thing...salad dressing, chips, double stuff Oreos, cereals, balloon bread, pasta, packaged Mac and cheese, and Diet Coke...the items continue on...

OK, I can change...really can...but the Horse has been hooked on TAB, then DC and Diet Pepsi for over 60 years...the author says that the culprit is aspartame....is that as part of me?...dozens of studies have linked it to serious health problems...cancer, Alzheimers, seizures, strokes, dementia, as well as intestinal dysbiosis, mood disorders, headaches and migraines...pretty much sounds like that list of what is named on most drugs that one might take, and the disclaimers are rattled off on the pixels...and for goodness sakes, trump is addicted to it...so I must change...from this day on...no Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi...none...

I have found my New Year's resolution...my beverage intake is now Coke, Pepsi, Iced tea, and Agua...Iced...and, of course, black coffee..OK, beer too...and some bourbon...but, that's it, kids...now, as far as the double stuff Oreos, we have an issue to be dealt with in another year...

The case of too many bowl games...that are rather meaningless...if not playoff worthy, then why?...quite often, obvious players opt out of them, to save themselves from injury...for their lucrative chance at playing and making big $ in the NFL...I get that...no better example, than the Mississippi QB last eve...got hurt and is now a ? mark for the pros...he was to be a certain 1st round pick...

You see, this bowl system is a bunch of crock...the winners are the coaches who get bonuses for taking a team to one...more if they win...really...the organizing committee make bucks, too...often it is their only job for the year...tell you something?...the league makes cash, too...time to bash them, increase the amount of teams in the playoffs...use the 'bowls' as part of the match ups...a total no duh...of course, I have been saying this for years...no more Potato Bowl...

Obviously off his rocker, donny...too many Diet Cokes...wants to make a speech on January 6...has he got a clue?...he laughs at the judicial system...just laughs...and Congress, too...

Boss Lady and I had to do this...put our bikes on the new carrier and try the bloody thang out...well now...we are rookies...took us over an hour and half to figure the damn thing out...had to retire back up to the condo, to rest...ha ha...and to readjust what we had just constructed...alas, it turned out successfully...off we went to Mission Beach for a ride...and for lunch...it was a winner and kick ass...BTW, a gazillion of people there, too...the weather has turned...
