A typical type Civil War game ...throw out the records...bring in the pride...strap it up...and you have the battle of the state...and in the 4th Q, the lead kept changing hands...in the end, it was the Ducks surviving...and getting the 6th straight of these... Both teams were coming off abysmal showings in their last...which gave the illusion of a yawner...for this one... NOT ... OSU played like they did a month ago... and were actually, gulp, the better team last night ...it's true Duckee fans ...the only thing that held them out of the victory was crappy play calling...UO, for the last month, can not stop the run...porous...and that's what got the Beavs going...and then they got cute and threw the ball, way too often... I may be wrong on this...but...here's my theory...the Ducks were up by 1...and OSU was driving and inside the Duck 25...inching their way to a game winning FG...about 1:30 to go... Time Out ... it appeared to me that the Ducks let the Beavs scor...

No, not that one...but the oddly named one out of the great state of Oregon ...the Civil War ...loosely based on the north and south universities there...sometime in the 30's...so it is said...anyway...this version is in Eugene, where it never rains... the line?...21 1/2 ... favoring the home team ...leave it alone...who knows what will transpire...usually these are close ones...throw out the records...teams have a knack of rising to the occasion...funny part of this...most of the players are from out of state, Cali is the leader... be true to your school...Beach Boys... Did you see the ploy used by the Brooklyn Nets Rookie Coach?...Jason Kidd ...he had no time outs...at the end of the game...found a way to stop the clock by faking a "dropping a coke" on the floor...by having a player "bump"in to him...just so happens that it was caught on tape...as Kidd told the bloke, "hit me"...ha ha...mission accomplished!...he got the timeout...set up a play.....

And to all of you, Happy Thanksgiving ...not exactly sure of the resurrection of the meaning....or the original concept...regardless, the gathering of all families is the idea now...and I buy into that... thinking back to when all of our parents were still with us...kind of makes me sad ...like I took it all for granted... in honor of M's mom, we are going to use her china ...BUT... in the now, Cris, Leila, and Bro Bill will join us ...and that is a good thing, a very good thing... Can you believe that businesses are actually opening up on TGiving eve?...give your workers a break...BUT...from their (worker's) vantage point...must be making OT hours....which will help them...so, I can understand it a bit...but not much...are you going to shop then?...naw... Just why is Friday called Black Friday? ...has to be due to the making of $...not for the savings of it...right?...we used to get out and shop on that day...no longer...used to get donuts and coffee for free...?...prob...

OK, I just watched some of it...well, a lot of it... the AMA's ...and there were some decent performances...where you could actually hear the lyrics...and not have them beeped out...a major positive step, kids....the best?...without a doubt, Jennifer Lopez ...alias, JLo ....and I have NO idea what she was saying... to just contradict what I said in the previous couple of lines ...shoot she could have been swearing in Spanish...as she was paying tribute to somebody...probably the important thing...but she was on key, sounded great, looked great, and danced like a queen (?)... he tenidos seis anos de espanol, and no recuerdo mucho ...too fast...but it was GREAT!... What the bleep bleep is happening to the Bolts? ...played like world beaters yesterday, as they beat KC in OT...and KC fans, about the Native Chants, enough already...find something else to do...it repulses me...the game... QB Rivers made a number of crucial plays...and threw the ball like a 21 year old...and get this,...

Imagine your best players popping off about the lack of excitement of playing in the Rose Bowl ...and then... going out and playing with a lack of passion ...in Zona...hey, kids, give the Wildcats their due...they played great...and outdid the Ducks ...and bam...that ended anything too positive for the U of O... some may call this coaching...or lack thereof ...well...part of what you do, is guide your guys to do and say the right things...especially in this time of Twitter, Facebook, er, social media...it's a major phase...so, yes, coaching... On the other hand... the SDSU Aztecs ... a tremendous effort by them ...as they went to OT, again...this is 4 times this season...against the highly heralded Boise St Broncos...played with great enthusiasm, especially on the special teams....and won...I have not been too pleased with their antiquated O...it's time for them to step up here...and make some changes...but, you can not question their passion for the game...ever... Oh m...
