2016 ...and so we go... how is this one going to fair?...what trials and tribulations are on the horizon? ...some obvious ones...probably no greater than who we elect as our next Prez ...sure, other things are important...and will be dependent on that person...the normal, albeit awful, the way terror is handled...the list goes on...but today...is the day... that Horse looks back at...2015 ...the good, bad, and ugly...this time I have no numbers...like 10-1... The Donald ...since it started so early...we have to include it in this year...I've been asking my Repub golf mates for a couple of years, who's your candy man going to be?...they complain about Prez O mercilessly....and out of the pack of maybe's came Donald Trump...without a doubt, the biggest story of the year...there is no 2nd...now, I'm not saying he will win...but...I have never seen the likes of his every word shown....EVERYWHERE!...and the people want to see him...hmmm...with his poll numbers of approva...

Hey now...how you kids doing?...last day of 2015...right here and now...and you need to hear my take on last night's HOLIDAY BOWL ...the one that featured the Wisconsin Badgers and the USC Trojans ...and this is a totally non-biased observation...from talking, listening, and watching the whole thing unfurl... The experience ...we prefunctioned at our pad ...this was good...Radar and his new wife, Sara, joined us...we had already bought tix for the trolley, online on the MTS app...saved a few bucks by doing this...walked over to the pickup spot...no easy feat with M still with a gimpy knee...but, success... Boarded ...and it was already jammed...we were the 3rd stop...and it got worse...30 minute ride to the Q...our destination...every stop, more and more peops got on... packed like sardines in a can, I tell ya ...we were fortunate to have seats...most did not...and we were dressed for the cold...inside this trolley, it was heat, heat, heat...but had some great conversation...

It's that time of the year....kind of like the end of it...for the NFL blokes who get their PINK SLIPS! ... head coaches...meaning they get their walking papers...booted...banished...fired...sent packing ...as their team didn't do well enough for some of the most idiotic and contriving people in the rich part of the our civilization...the owners of the National Football League ...just a conjecture, but if there were names listed on these secret Super Pacs in the lobbyist world...their's would be right there... Top of the list to go, is the former coach at Philly... the Duck, Chip Kelly ...in a surprise move in the 1st place... to try his fast break system in that league...could it work?...in a nutshell, NO! ...it's a huge person collaboration...and the speed needed just doesn't work...the pounding that these dudes take, more time off is needed to recover...it's just a diff game than the collegiates...anyway, so off he goes out of Eagle land... where is next...

Well, not exactly....but, we had a blast of the wet stuff last eve...right at the time we were driving over to Mission Bay HS to watch my old school play ball... Sprague. ..forgot what it's like back in the school zones...parking always an issue...and only walked thru 3 massive puddles of water... After a whopping $20 price to get in and watch the game....egads!...went over and talked to the now coach, BJ...such a nice guy...and had no idea his assist. was my old high school chum, Mike Wilson ...had a terrific talk and wished the guys well...their team has a couple of standouts...have no idea about their age...but if young, this will be a good team... Unfortunately, they played a "zoo" like team from just south of Sac... press made or miss...rotate 12 kids every few minutes...and were mighty speedy ...a team that you would beat handily in a regular season game...but...in these tourney type ones...the refs let 'em play...and foul at will...favors the aggressors...

Brrr...it's a chilly outside ...48*...which is cold for here, ya"ll...and I have to get down to storage and bring up my "warm" clothes ...my sweaters, coats (2), and long pants...egads, what's this world coming to?...last eve, when it was Sammi time, I had a beanie, a sweatshirt, long johns, and my go to all season coat on ...and still was freezing...you out of area peops got nuttin on us... Tonite, Marsh and I are going over to a high school hoops game ...what?...yup...one of my schools that I taught and coached at are in town for one of them holiday tourneys... Sprague. ..and have been in contact with the coach...over at Mission Bay High...game time is 6...we can do that... go Olys...lordy, I haven't said that for like 20 years...oh my...time... Ruffled a few feathers on Facebook ...I popped off and said that t he Arizona Cardinals lack class ...it's true...but, in reality, it's the NFL...and none of the teams have any...so, that may be a very...

Morning kids...it's a super Sunday ...bet geez, it doesn't feel like one...more like a Tuesday...I guess it's because of Xmas on Friday...right?...anyway, spent way too much time watching football yesterday ...there were 6 of them bowl games on...and I needed a sweep to get back in the pool... Turns out that after 4 early wins, I was a puffin me chest out...and then BOOM!...a catastrophe ... Duke beat Indiana in OT ...wait, it must be hoops, right?...these are hoops schools...naw, they were playing in the toilet bowl in Flushing, NY...kidding...anyway...with all these bowl games, they must have sent the worst refs to this one...as in the overtime, the Indiana kicker tied the game with a FG...that was good , and yet, the refs blew it...and ran off the field...egads...replays show it was clearly in and good ...this is why you have the replays...unless, the odds boards are involved...booooooo...and, of course, I lost...staying in this paragraph...then lost the last one......
