Well now, the mother's have passed on and it's really a happy spouses (femalish) day...and if you already have everything that could possibly be wanted...here is a list of what to give for ... Happy Wive's Day .... 10.  Ugg fur lined slippers ...it's such a cold evening, and what better to protect the bunion laced feet of your mate... 9.  A 2010 calendar of "Wham". ...I know it's 5 months into the year, but it's a good price...and I know they may be of the other persuasion, but what the heck... 8.  Year's supply of Mello Mint Patties ...OK, it may be a bit selfish here, but keeping her with good breath is a good thing... 7.  BV Chardonnay ...see above...this time to get her liquored up... 6.  Edible panties ...a bit too far?  I'm just keeping the theme going...but you know, if chocolate is your passion, why not? 5.  Pedicure and Manicure ...pretty much the real deal here...any color of her choice, except black...not a fan of Goth... 4. ...

So do you trust guys like this?   Is he but an indicator of where the financial instability lies in this country?  Is there a rhyme or a reason why the stocks rise and fall so quickly?  Is our money so tied in to the European scene that it can't handle their woes?  Isn't the bulk of our money rapt into the far east?  I guess I could go on and on...and NOBODY has the answers....not THIS GUY , or anyone... Did you watch your Survivor?   Russell the rat has a paw in to all that happens in the game...he just may be what he says, the best player ever . ..I'm not sure, as Parvati has him cornered...I think... Idol ....finally the voters got wise and elevated the true contenders and released the kid from us all...still can't see peops voting for him over the screamer ...I blame the loss of her to Simon... Did you catch your girl Elizabeth Hassleback's view of DWTS Erin?  Me thinks Lizzy gettin' too dizzy with her Conservy thinkin ....and the latest...

As the spring time gets into full swing around here, my job is to line up the concerts that we are going to attend...and part of the game of it, is to get the tix as early as possible....the rundown, so far... Crosby, Stills, and Nash ....at Humphrey's by the bay...absolutely, the greatest venue as it is open air, smallish (2000) peops, and close by...we've seen them 5 or 6 times and still is a step back into the late 60's and 70's and is groovy... Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum ....at Cricket in Chula Vista...a huge, partially covered arena, that is a bit much to get to...15-20 minutes...really looking forward to Lady A as the groove they have is the most current...Need You Now...and Tim is great and a bunch of fun... Dianna Ross ...back at Humphrey's....1st time for us to see her...curious if she's going to do some old Supremes stuff...got these as soon as they came out and figure they would sell for double now...naw, we are going... The Beach Boys ...at H...

Did you see your latest Glee ?  It's the Madonna show...actually very enjoyable...and the cast does grow on you... The baseball world is bewildered by the.... first place Padres ...who came from behind and won again by a walk off hit by Chase Headley ...we have the rubber game tonight... The Lakers had a yawner win over the Jazz... DWTS ...just who is voting for Niecy Nash ?  I do think that Pamela was in jeopardy, but not Erin... Idol ...OK, I am the first to say...it has become boring... Lee and Crystal the best I suppose...and who is voting for the kid?   It is excruciating to hear him each week...maybe let him win and make it a complete farce....like the year that the silver fox won... OMG... I caught your act and it's all fluff... Somehow, that's the way this blog seems today...

So what do you think?  Is this a picture of a middle easterner, a latino, an italian, a mexican, an indian, a native american....so do you ask him for his passport or his ID whenever you see him... The times are uncertain for different types of heritage in this country...persecution of the races has been ongoing since the Europeans invaded and took over this land less than 225 years ago...and this country has created some of it's own situations with the importing of it's slaves...and as all people grow, the country didn't comprehend that growth... Fast forward to now...the USA is considering itself prim and proper...doesn't want the stability of it's people altered...that now, there can be no others coming in to the country to do what they did 225 years ago...this land is our land... Where am I going with this?  The strengthening of our borders is a must...but where is the threat of harm coming from?  Without a doubt it is from the goons of Al Quida and it's ...

The mighty team of Shepard-Shepard-Lamb-Gardner won the Pomona Alumni Classic for the 2nd time in 4 years yesterday...it was worth the 2 hour drive (each way) up to LA at the Los Serranos Country Club...it's always windy and soooo long.... big time bragging rights... The Padres ...shut out the Brewers for the 3rd time out of the 4 game series...set all time Pad record as they gave up just 2 runs in the series... 5th straight series win and remain in 1st place in the west...I keep telling you, our bullpen is the best ...I keep repeating the word series ...is there a World Series in the offing? A huge amount of airplay for the Arizona law on immigration ...I suppose they would like all the states to adopt this racial profiling scheme...what, are we in South Africa a couple of decades ago? It's a 70+ day at the beach today, and we are heading that way...somebody (s) got to do it... Did you see the 20 year old came from nowhere and beat Lefty at Quail Hollow in NC ?...

Winning jockey 3 out of the last 4 years at the Derby .... Calvin Borel ...is just a master at his trade ...working the inside like no other, he guided another winner in Kentucky ... The Padres were victims of very suspicious ball and strike calling last eve in their 2-1 loss to the Brewers...perhaps as many as 8 3rd strike calls during the evening led to the anger shown by AGonzo , as he was ejected for the 1st time in his career ...shortly followed by manager Bud Black...as you know how I feel on this subject...there is big time gambling in sports...and where better to control your wager than calling every pitch... bad day or big bet?   Situations like this should be looked into by the league to see if there is a pattern shown by this umpire... Rob Drake is his name...I'll be following... The NBA has finally moved on to the 2nd round... Cavs beat the Celts and LA takes on the Jazz... In the PGA , a name from the past has emerged...
