OK, I am telling you that it is the most corrupt thing in collegiate sport...the bowl games...that which disrupts any thoughts of a playoff system...hey, each bowl has a set of governors, or whatever they are called...and they make boocoo bucks inviting and setting up their own little bowl games...and you tell me that it's on the up and up?...every once in a while somebody will do an expose on the money crap...and nothing ever happens...it just keeps going on...and with 35, or is it 34, of them...it is BIG BUSINESS ...most of the time for the schools or leagues that are involved...so, the schools get $ and they don't complain 'cuz of it...booo...and the bigger the bowl, the bigger the dough... The NBA ...the Clips did get Chris Paul...and the ones that are interviewed?...the Lakers...who are in bewilderment why he didn't come their way...speaking of LA...there are many rumors out there about moving Pau Gasol...it is looking like the Lakes are in disarray...new coach a...

The flick, that is...we finally got down to the GQ movie house ...and at $28 it didn't seem too bad...2 tix, a regular popcorn and a medium diet coke...is that about the price elsewhere?...really dig the big screen and sound system...so, I say, worth the price...the movie?... my partner, Marsh, gave it an A ... me, it was a B ...it was fast paced and fun...lurve to see the sights of NYC... Zac Efron was great and the ongoing coming out party of Lea Michele ...well, you know I think she is a huge talent...get out to the theater and get lost in this one...and a final thought...there were only 3 couples (counting us) in the entire place...how do they survive? Don't rain on my parade...but the jet stream is poked right at us...not only bringing us the wet stuff (some), but the bitter cold...albeit it is like 53*, it still is cold...last year at this day, it was 83*...geez...and you think you have it bad... I'm going to get serious here...if you can bear arms to fight...

You know how much I despise the present college football bowl scene...and the hideous, corrupt, BSBCS system...in the underbelly of the upper tier is the ugly set up of the rest of the bowls...no better example than that of the Big 10 ... who actually has 12 teams ...where 10 of their schools are in BOWL GAMES!. .. TEN ...it's almost like the system that the great state of Oregon has done to their playoffs, where all teams are in....wait, did I say playoffs?  Back to the Big 10 ...how many Eastern Michigans can they play to get to the magical 6 number?...Good people of the land, rise up and get this corrected...or, you, who are the highly esteemed president of your college or university.... DON'T YOU HAVE ANY PRIDE in your word or actions?  I am ashamed...so should you be... Get this...with the problem of illegal immigration of the Mexican border...there is talk of having an unmanned crossing...where to enter, you would speak to someone on a screen, 100 miles away...what...

A very cool thing about watching a good movie...how you can get lost in the hour or two that it is on the screen...have watched a few lately...believe it or not, a real oldie in "All The King's Men" ...that starred the one and only Broderick Crawford ...and the other was a recently Blu-ray released, "Something Borrowed" , starring Gini Goodwin and Goldie Hawn's daughter, Kate Hudson ...NY backdrop...mindless stuff that was fun...and, I promise you, we are heading over to the GQ movie house for "New Year's Eve" this eve....wait, this afternoon...because... Tonight we are going to watch the annual Mission Bay Parade of Boats ...that are lit up with Christmas lights ...and is the first time we have taken it in...it's a couple of blocks away...maybe we'll go up to the 10th floor and watch it...decisions, decisions... So you can  feel rested that my golf game appears to be back ...slight alteration in my iron play...and I'...
