Got the call to go to the Farmer's Insurance Open out at Torrey Pines ...first of all, I am going to tell you that there is no better setting in the world...OK, maybe Kapalua ...and the weather was terrific...had some special passes so we got in the "tent area" ...and had backed seats on the 15th green...just a treat...as we usually hoof it all over the place...which we did for the first couple of hours...until we stumbled on the benefits that we didn't know we had...oh yea, the golf...it's looking like a Bill Haas tourney...there are others lurking or leading, but he's been there and is long...which on the south course is a must...how about Lefty ?...oops, didn't make the cut...lots of holes to go...and Bubba (pictured)...struggling and may not make the cut... The GOP is a mess...sorry Repubs , but it's true...do you really want Mitt ?...I don't think so... Rickie ?...naw, no dough... Ronnie ?...you are not that crazy... Newt ?...so muc...

Hey, it was purnt near the move of the decade...rumored that the Duck's Chip Kelly was bolting to the NFL...and the Oregon nation was going wild...names starting to pop as the replacement...BUT...it is apparent that Chip came to his senses and is staying put...let's hope...he's the most innovative guy out there...
