Did we know prior to sending Secy of State Clinton that Gadhafi was dead?  Why else would we do such a brazen act?  Eerily similar situations to that of Iraq's former dictator...where he was hiding and all...he must not have found a safe haven outside of his former country...or very stubborn in his demise ... On a totally diff note...I watched the republican prez candidates debate in Vegas the other night...unlike my esteemed colleague in the great state of Oregon.. .I was encouraged by what I saw ...in particular Newt ...who came off as a very polished "real" candidate in my book...did you get that Herman Cain's 9-9-9 had a bunch of inadequacies in it?  And the bloke from Texas...I mean the gov...just a bit too arrogant for me...OK...OK...I would like Mitt and Newt to emerge and get to serious stuff to ponder over...I believe they could be a good match for the demos ... What would the NFL do with out the clown from the Jets ?  You know, Coach Ryan ....

Are you OK with this?  The Gov't. is sending Hillary Clinton over to Libya in a surprise move to help them through their overthrow process...it has been said the total is about $135 million thus far...geez, who's in power there?  I don't think I've heard that Ghadhafi has been captured yet, right?  When I think about my taxes going there, well...I know it has been going on forever...but...really?  When can this type of foreign policy be stopped?  Maybe, I am naive... I talked yesterday about the 49er/Lion coaches brouhaha ...and the NFL DID NOT fine them...geez, I was thinking if there was ever a time for $, this is it...I guess the rules don't cover it if there isn't any blows...the Dolphins are lost at sea... the Bolts go into NJ to test the offensively inept Jets...short week... maybe a chance for SD ... The World Series ...I just can't get too excited about the Cards and Rangers ...middle America rise up...at least we can see Mike Adams and Yo...

The first BSBCS poll is out, or is it in?  And, Duckee fans, you're not going to like it... 10th ...even though the 3 top polls have 'em no worse than 9th...the dreaded BSBCS has it a bit worse off...the fact is...it's going to take some major losses by others before Oregon moves up...and some BS favs are climbing from the rear...still, the Stanford Cardinal is but an awful 8th...it's early, don't panic...it's a long shot in this corrupt system, that still exists... boo ... Of all the teams to start off well in the NFL , the 49ers and the Lions ...they met up yesterday in a heater...and SF got the W ...then it turned goofy...the coaches met at mid field and the Niner's Coach Harbaugh ...you know from Stanford and USD ...shoved the Detroit Coach away...and that didn't sit well...he chased Harbaugh off the field in anger...gots to admit, I could see me doing the same to that som bitch .... Speaking of that word...do you watch the Housew...

Marsh surprised me with a mini-trip to Vegas...we stayed at the Mirage...beautiful spot...and I never left the complex...it was my 64th birthday...so we went to the Beatle's Love Show...so cool...if you haven't you must...the only draw back was that we drove...the last time we do that...5 1/2 hours... For breakfast  at BB's... our waiter recognized me as a Duck fan...said he bet on 'em giving 14 1/2...I told him too much...then I go down and do the same...Oregon wins by 14 and I lose...I will not tell you who I bet on to break even...but I bet you can guess... I must say thanks to all of you who spent time wishing me happy birthday...so nice of you...I've got the R 11 in my sights for my present... By the way, the show did not have "When I'm 64"...
