The news out of Maui...80+ dead now...and the number will rise ...the complete devastation...the disaster of disasters...in such a beautiful, memorable place...as I have said before, I can't imagine the terror those people went through...yes, the warning sirens did not go off...sometimes you wonder if there is a supreme power...such a tragedy that will take years to rebuild, if done...this is open ended for sure... Nothing compares to this, regardless of what I write about... We had a dinner the other nite...and the food came out raw ....at least mine did...chicken parm...it was a shock...the waiter and manager, fell all over themselves, to accommodate me...wasn't their fault...but, how could a cook possibly think the food was prepared correctly?...can't think of a time that I have ever gone thru this...ever...no names...here... The Friars unleashed on the DBacks last eve in Arizona ...put a 10 spot on the boards...so very needed...yet, we still have problems with our relie...

When the news broke about the wild fires on Maui, yesterday...it shattered my mind...the town of Lahaina was ablaze...and now, the aftermath ...as I first heard, 6 dead...many structures afire and presumed destroyed...the infamous Banyan Tree?...gone...then...this morning...reality has sunk in... IT GOT WORSE!...36 DEAD, and many displaced...some 11,000 ...am assuming this figure is referring to locals...the town has burned to the ground... the Banyan Tree?...still standing, but...scarred...truly amazing that it is ...not to down play, this...but there are fires elsewhere on the island...Kihei and north of Kahana...have not heard the severity of them...just a very sad day for Hawaii...also, fired on the Big Island, south of Maui...think the world isn't heating up?...scary, my good friends... Of course, this is news you can get elsewhere...but it has painful relevance to my family...and my friends who have joined us there over the years...gone...but not forgotten...never... Pivoting...

I saw this on a Facebook alert...don't fly to Maui now...ah what?...then, did some investigating...wild fires on Maui ...and then... BOOM! ... out of control FIRES destroying LAHAINA!!! ...raging type, that are so fast moving that people are actually JUMPING INTO THE OCEAN! ...to be clear, this is a most wondrous little town right on the coast...rich in history, and one of those sites...that you go back to, as often as you can...in fact, we have gone there, anniversary, for 17 straight years...  I have seen night time videos of the devastation ...but, really don't know how encompassing it is...I fear more than we think...as the daytime vids will show just what has happened...BTW, it is continuing on...it is not over...still raging... What I am hearing, is that this is an after effect of a hurricane that just went through the Islands ...I don't have much else for now...stay tuned to your local pixel news station... and however you pray...whatever you do...to give hope to th...

Good morning, kids...a grand Tuesday, the 8th of August...this is not a previously recorded version of the Horse...don't you just hate that, when you turn on a show...and in the bottom of the screen it says 'previously recorded' ...? ...nowhere is it stated in the previews that is was to be...who wants to watch a rerun?...well, of a 'live' show...anyhoo, we are live and in motion right now...and gonna give you the best the Horse has got...
