The Cleveland Injuns went one up on the Blue Jays...in a most boring 2-0 game...the lowlight was the odious strike zone of the ump...I could care less who wins this series, but I'd have that guy make him watch the replay, pitch by pitch...and give his rational...reasons...or irrational... How about them Aztecs!...went into Fresno and beat the once around Bulldogs...17-3...I will say this, I do feel like in a time warp zone gazing at the O they run...like in the 70's...or before...but...they do have a terrific RB... Morning kids...finally a bit cooler around here in the GQ...which really is a welcome relief...well...it is the off season for the losers...what am I talking about?... the Padres ...as they try to find a way to get out of the cellar...which is a norm for this organization... So... the San Diego Padres did a shake up, er, down ...by releasing their Prez and one of his subordinates... Mike Dee ...they didn't say "fire"...strange, but what isn't with this team?...gonna go yet another...new...direction... how about getting rid of the foo, Ron Fowler?...and certainly the GM that Dee hired a couple of years ago, Trader AJ Preller ...currently serving a month long suspension for stuff...ha ha... Fact is...we have way below average pitching ...until this is settled, we are the basement dwellers... regardless of who is the club's boss ...more to come?... Didn't see that coming...did see the set going back to Chi-town for the deciding game numero cinco...didn't you?...as the Cubbies came up big in the 9th and won...as San Francisco's bullpen failed them...gave up 4 runs and the visitors were delirious...is it their time?... Down the I-5, the news was much better...as the Bums beat the Nats ...and forced that game 5...back to DC...maybe I'm all askew, but these two teams seem better than the former...yup, that includes them Chicago dudes...but really, I know nuttin'...don't get on me.... Morning, ya"ll...how's your morning going?...the weather here is turning back down to normal...the 70's...which feels great in the condo...the windows are open and there is fresh air flowing thru...so...I whipped thru my 11 sources of news...marveled at the topics that were the headlines...I can't help but think, WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?... With the instant news available like no other time before...the social media in the forefront...the amazing cell phone's abilities....people getting money for any pix that they can come up with...unsubstantiated things said...by ANYONE!...any time any where... there is no place for any person to hide ...certainly, if one is running for the top position in the land...right?... Pundits went crazy about how the country has fallen so badly when these two candy peops debated...the deplorable methods used...way back when, it was just innuendos...now, it is all real...for the above reasons and more...how everything is taped...or pict...

Morning kids...let's all celebrate the Native American Day ...what?...hey now...it's Columbus Day , and we all get to take a day off...blasphemy...alright...the bloody state of South Dakota switched things up , like some 25 years ago or so... changed the day of recognition from the dude who sort of found this country, that the "Injuns" really didn't ...from Chris Columbus to them "Indians" day...of course, it did not catch on for the rest of the country...a few other states have since adopted a day...just not on this one... like California, "celebrates" it on the 4th Monday of every 12th year of the spinner cycle of the moon ...I digress... What a pleasant surprise ...the kids joined us for an experience out at the oldish Q...for the SDSU / UNLV football game...what makes this so cool, is that this school is on the upswing...more and more SoCal peops are catching on...first of all, it is gorgeous...here...the weather is phenomenal...which really goes without saying...but I'm saying it anyway... There has been a buzz for quite some time with their hoops team ...you can't get a ticket...way true...and the kids are big time into their product...yes, and we have yet to go to one...watch them on the pixels all the time...they play great D....if you have tracked me, that is my repetitive comment on the Steve Fisher program.....and now...
