Prez T did what he said he would do... stare down the rest of the World , with his own stance of dealing with the climate concerns...of the earth...after another week of maybes, and this and that...he did it...told the new French leader, Emanuel Macron, that the USA is OUT! ...much to the dismay of former Prez O...who was all for the battle... You can make a case either way...for the NBA Championship ...one thing that most can agree on, these are the 2 best teams in the league... Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden St Warriors ... who ya got? ...finally starts tonight...in Alameda... The Cavs are loaded... have 4 'stars', in James, Irving, Love, and Thompson ...with a deep and veteran bench...have the ability to use the power game, that is very effective against GS...in Irving, he can create his own shot, and I don't think the Warriors have a guy to stop him...but...their brain trust is lacking...hmmm, many of the former players turned 'analysts' think that coaching is over rated in the league... Morning, kids...a quickie, as I have another of one of them early tee times...but...the highlight of yesterday's baseball...was a lowlight...another bean brawl ...history fueled it...between the Nat's Bryce Harper and a SF Giant dude, Hunter Strickland , he faced like 3 yrs ago...and he got him for a couple of dingers...pay back time...by HITTING him...melee ensued...fun for the fans, I suppose...not so, if you are the one getting plunked...quit throwing at people!... Just got a memo that it is raining out in El Cajon , and we are canceling the golf ...no like a de rain...done enough of that stuff...so, you get me for a longer blog....hey hey... For those of the country who gave their lives...for just cause, so it is said...honor them...for sure...with this Memorial Day ...this is NOT the time to reflect on why they were where they were...and for the reason thereof...but to pay tribute to the fact, that they gave the biggest thing, their life...it is truly a sad day, and certainly, not a happy one...my heart goes out to them and their survivors... And...other less important stuff...just stuff... One of the ringing things in all of pro sports... REPEAT! ...or even, 3PEAT...you get the picture...when a team wins the championship...and just as soon as the trophy is raised, the faithful are calling for yet another...this next season...such is the mission of the beloved, apparently Nationwide, Cubbies of Chicago ...MLB...beisbol...hey, kids, it is real hard to do...real hard... And in their case, they have all the tools ...youth, power, D, and the most important of all, pitching...so, why aren't they running away with the league this season?...first of all, the game of baseball is very hard to play...hitting a ball is ridiculous...thrown at 90+mph...when 'good' is hitting 30% of the time...that means you are missing 70%...imagine...so, if you are now at 27%, the team starts to suffer...well, the Cubs are not hitting too well right now...
