The change of blokes in the Trump Regime , is a never ending string of maladies ...of the man himself...the latest is the office of Attorney General ...where Jeff Sessions was asked to give his position up...because he chose to recuse himself from the Mueller Probe...ah ha...the newbie, is the devotee to the Prez, Matt Whitaker ...and here we go...it is called an ACTING AG ...or is it?...pictured here is Sessions and Whitaker, who worked for the former... The way the constitution is written up, the President is to nominate someone ...and then the Senate confirms the choice ...maybe...the wording is a bit cumbersome...and for a guy like Trump, he may challenge that...and just give the job to Whitaker...what?...he NEEDS protection...and time may be a wasting...because...if the Mueller Report is released, the Acting AG has to deal with it...but, can he?... The change of the wind pattern, called the Santa Ana Winds , down here in SoCal, can be lethal ...as the warmth, triggers the danger of FIRES! ...just opposite of the ocean breeze, that one would expect...already just north of LA, there is one in motion ...seems to me, that most that start up, the fires , are probably set ...cuz, we just don't have the violent storms that are in other places...really, really sad... Not sure if I have ever been as embarrassed to watch OUR President as I was today...well, I have NEVER! ...in his press conference... his bullying pulpit ...that went over the line of decency...as he called out 3 different press agents...as they were simply questioning the man...have you seen it?...in his method of intimidation of people ...his boisterous call of 'being able to fire everybody' ...as the people...the press...the Nation...watch in bewilderment... Imagine ...if YOU worked for a boss that pulled these shenanigans...in some circles, THEY would be removed ...however, if they OWNED the business, they probably could get away with it ...until, the employees had had enough...and got out of there...just trying to relate what we see in the White House to the real world... sadly, this IS our US of A, now... To go one step further, take a look at Netflix's 'House of Cards' ...the fictional President doesn't just quell the non-believers, but does a...

The polls and the pundits were right on ...reminds me of the song by Marvin Gaye, 'Right On' ...well, the phrase does anyway...as the Repubs retained the Senate , and the Demos took over the House ...and thus we have, a divided Congress ...so what is the outcome of all this?...that we are in for a couple of chaotic years in this regime... Look no further than the number of women who were elected to the House of Reps...Demo ones. ..and a couple of late 20 year olds to boot...a smashing win for a Native American Lady, wait, an Indigenous Lady Person...call that an ILP...those are just a few of the highlights of the eve...well, of the day of the votes... The Senate was another story...probably the biggest was that Ted Cruz prevailed in Texas ...against one of the new hotshot personalities of the Demos, Beto O'Rourke ...who will gather himself and probably... PROBABLY, run for Prez in 2020 ...a person of interest, kids...still, the Repubs remain in control...for som...

Can't recall a midterm election that I have looked forward to more than this one...yes, kids, this is the day of the VOTE! ...the Q's are out there...will the Demos actually show up and tally their marks, like they didn't just two years ago?...you KNOW the Repub base will...so, if you are one of those who have to get out to the polling booth, do so...if you are a mailer, that hasn't sent your ballot in,  then you have to take to a drop off site...but, for heavens' sake... VOTE! ...don't give me an alibi...or us...reminder, it is 'we the people'...and on this day, there is NO ELECTORAL COLLEGE crap... majority wins ... The History Channel just aired a synopsis of the early 70's Nixon Watergate ...how bizarre that was...how the leaders were trying, in vain, to hide what they did...one by one, the dominos fell...all the way to the top...something tells me that there is to be deja vu, of sorts...maybe, this is wishful thinking...I dunno...what say ...

It has begun...the latest version of the Netflix , 'House of Cards' ...the show goes on without Kevin Spacey ...as he is gone... Claire Underwood is now the President ...and what happened, and the why's are in the first couple of episodes...all that we watched last eve...if you have been hooked in the past, then you will not be disappointed...these writers are very clever...interested in your reaction...keep me posted... Makes no difference what time I awaken and start to read what the web net has... the east coast is already a buzz ... NY and DC , in particular...this tidbit came out already....that Trump's advisors (gosh, he has some?) spent the weekend informing him of the ramifications of the Tuesday midterm elections...here's the scoop, that they have told him the perils that they think that will emerge...hmmm...I guess that is wishful thinking, cuz, I trust NO POLLS...the final tally is what I am looking at...and, nothing surprises me, after the debacle...
