Ah hem, the Kentucky Derby ...matches any sport's singular important event...like golf's Masters...or football's Super Bowl...you get me drift...it's the day of the horses...3 yr olds...as millions of people stop...and watch the event at Churchill Downs...a place where this Horse has never been ...the track will reportedly host over 200,000...yup, it's the real deal... So who do I have?...as I said yesterday, I have 2...out of 20...there is not a lot of early speed in this particular race...so handicapping is extremely tough...the closers have to find a path through a lot of others...so... I picked Nyquist to get out and maybe hold on...or...my main choice, Mohaymen , to come out of the pack... Andy the Capper has his Creator ...shoot, it just may be a crap shoot...haven't got me tix yet...have to stroll on over to Striders in the am... Hey now, the Pads looked like a dang good squad last eve...beating the Mets again...this time a shut out, 2-0 ...great...

The Repubs are an odd lot, right?...as the last combatant to the Donald gave it up, too...Kasich...now it is only Trump ...yup, who'd a thunk it 10 months ago...well, the Horse did ...is the party fractured?...there is a lot of air space taken up by the doubters...count me as NOT one of them...they will be just fine...as the Demos have their own problems ...it will be a highly contested race, as usual...and I am not making any predictions until I see the 1st debate...nope, not until then... Yes, we did figure it all out... we are not moving ...not now...the house was perfect, but not for right now...we have at least a couple of more years here...at least ...thanks to all those who wished we would stay... Your poli-ticks became way clearer after the results from Indiana were revealed...at least from the Repubs...as the Donald trumped Raffy and the K man...it was a whitewash...he got all the delegates...and... Cruz and his side kick, Fiarina, pulled out of the race ...what?...did NOT see that coming...no word from Kasich...yet...the RNC Chair said that in fact, Donald Trump is there candy man! ...there you go...trust Horse...I have been saying this for over than 6 months... However... the path for the Demos was muddled ...as t he Bern beat the Hilz in Indy...major upset...and adds more to the frustrations of the antiquated election system that the democrats...use...the bloody super delegates...in reality, their race is getting closer and closer... lots of innuendos that Sanders could win 6 of the last 9 states ...and still lose the election...ticks me off...and that's the reason I'm going independent... Sure...it appears that it will be a Trump / Clinton showdown...and ...

BTW, the latest poll numbers has Trump over Raffy by 16 points in the crucial Indiana vote ...the runaway train is still chugging on...interestingly, I have seen no mention to the Demo race...why is that?...actually is a much closer contest...finally found it... Clinton by 4 points over Sanders... No match was the debacle in San Antone ...
