We are on the road to Sac to see Cris and Leila ...and we are spending the weekend in Napa ....actually Calistoga ... DWTS ... OMG ...just how does your girl Bristol stay on?  I fear it's the political Palin vote that's keeping her there...sad... Have you been following the Cam Newton saga down in Alabam?  A whole lot of allegations on his previous couple of years... Gandered at the point spreads this weekend...some curios ones...the Beavs giving 23 1/2 to the Cougs...giving more than 6 seems a stretch...the Ducks giving 19 1/2 at Cal...the Bears are tough at home... Utah favored AT Notre Dame... Time to get a packing ...

Nobody is talking about it... ESPN fired Jon Miller and Joe Morgan as it's Sunday Night Baseball announcers...in my opinion (who else I suppose) the best in the business...no mention as to their successors... Did you catch the NFL game last night?  Each of those teams were playing hard, real hard...and I am in awe of the Steeler's D... DWTS ...just how does Bristol stay in the mix?  So far behind the rest of the "stars"...my fav?  the first impromptu...in my mind, a top ten all time...then the judges come right back and give the crybaby Jennifer a perfect score in her routine...poop on them... Just a side note...the Padres front office is being dismantled...not by being fired, but by going to where Kevin Towers is (Arizona) and where Sandy Alderson is (NY Mets) ... It seems like a Monday...

Did you watch the Breeder's Cup ?  Zenyatta in a tremendous come from behind effort...but for the 1st time ever...lost...by a couple of inches and it was thrilling... Lakers destroyed the Blazers ...well...there is no comparison there...is it just me, or has Brandon Roy lost a step... The Bolts get a huge win in Texas... and now get a bye and will get their receiver corps back... Ducks hold onto the BSBCS numero uno rank...my feeling is that Auburn will retain a spot in the champ game, as long as it goes undefeated...doesn't have to score big, just win...on the other hand Oregon has to score 7-9 touchdowns every game to hold onto the top spot... OK...for all the hullaballoo that you have been throwing at me for the Beavers demise...it's not my fault...in fact, I'm going to pick them again this week...and they will win...I hope... I need some rest...maybe you can call it my bye week ...

Another beautiful day here...biking and going over to Coronado ... OK, kids, I'm sorry...I put the whammy on the Beavs ...I pick 'em and they lose...again...and of course, I missed on LSU ...of my season's 14 losses, 8 have been those two teams...really, a bad loss by OSU to UCLA ... Ducks ...after a slow start (again), the Quack rolled up 56...on the Dawgs ...who in my estimation played a great game...outstanding game plan, but were lacking any semblance of an offense with their QB out... The Bolts go to Texas today and don't hold your breath...if SD passes on almost every down they have a chance...or if we don't have to punt... The pix, 7-3 for the week, and 46-14 (76.6%) overall...
