Throw at me? ...naw, I have had enough... the Pads in another come from behind game...this time with the hated Dodgers ...as their newly acquired fat cat of a pitcher, Zach Greinke , is mowing us down... who, with the ridiculous unparalleled way of spending in MLB, can buy whomever they want ...has the audacity to throw at our best hitter, Carlos Quentin ...a feat that many of the other pitcher blokes do...an easy way to get around our only true pop in the bat... AND ...here's the rub...the score was 2-1, and it was a full count... LA Manager Mattingly , calls the next act stupid... actually calls Quentin stupid ...as   Q knows nothing about baseball ...like it's unintentional what his pitcher did...sure...the fact is...he hits him in the upper shoulder...my calculation is that the shoulder is close to the head... not to mention that Greinke has hit Q now, for the 3rd time ... Mattingly says that he dives into pitches to get hit. ..yea, right... "everyone knows that...

It's Thursday, right?...well...we went to a friendly little night club last night and took in a concert...at the Casbah ...smoke free...and the music is real loud, kids...been there once before...it's a short little cab ride...maybe like 8-10 minutes... went with our Pinnacle friends, the Allens ...the group we went to see?... Clairy Browne and the Bangin Rackettes ...really...this is Marsh's find...I have heard them on CD...well...it's a great show... Aussies , I believe...and have a 6 man band with a 3 gal backup singing group, the Bangers...it is non-stop action and fun...check 'em out on iTunes .... Did finish watching the Idol show... Candace won the night ... Angie be 2nd ... Lazaro was absolutely dreadful and should be gone ...however...he's the only guy left, which could spell doom for one of the gals...as who would all the female voters, vote for?...but, he is soooo bad, maybe they won't go that way...let's hope... Pads lost game no. 2 ...

Geez, normally this is a festive day ... the 1st home game ...however, there is huge pessimism from the locals...as the present management came in with a load of promise and so far...very little change...if you judge by the beginning of the season... an abysmal 1-5 record ...and in those 6 games, score but 14 total runs ... OMG! ...and...the visitor is the hated Dodgers ...who bring with them a bundle of fans...a lot of them from this area to boot...anyway...it is a big day for the Gaslamp ...big bucks in all... Petco Park has moved the fences in in RF and a bit in LC...not so sure who that helps with the way our gopher proned pitchers are...and how we are not banging it... let's go Pads! This is age based...the gal of the time...was the Mousketeer's Annette Funicello ....she passed yesterday at 70...we all thought that she was the IT girl... Like I said... the Louisville Cards would win the title ...ha ha...I had the major change in that vision...and they won due ...

The biggest deal that a pro golfer can do is qualify for the Masters ...a place that I have yet been...and there were a bunch of blokes trying like the dickens to get there in the last event prior to it at the Vallero Open ...and out of nowhere came Martin Laird, a Scotsman ...with a closing 63...and got the win and the trip to Augusta...albeit a very slow player... oops, stay positive CH ...and also, fast closing, was Rory ...who got 2nd...and is my pick for the Master's winner... Academy of Country Music Awards ...in Vegas...you know my feeling about the voting in all of these things...mostly bizarre...but what I like about this version is the number of singers who actually sing... standouts...to me...were Carrie Underwood, the Band Perry, Lady A,...

Good morning, kids ...I actually got out to play golf yesterday...felt great and the weather was just as nice as it could be...so nice...finally, as this cold knocked me out for almost 3 weeks... I have to think I am wrong about Louisville ... the Cards will win it ...I think I was just so surprised that the Ducks played them so well... Michigan , who beat Syracuse, can't handle the pressure of L ...by the way, the semi-final games were good ones...what you think of the officiating?...played a major part of the games... Oh my... the Padres ... sunk to new depths ...now 1-4...and continue to show ineptness at the offensive end...paltry hitting...and display such weak pitching...throw in shoddy defense...
