I'm just so SICK and TIRED of being sick and tired...and of them bloody political ads on the pixels ...gonna scream if I see another McLevin one...I'm sure in your area it is just as bad...my mantra...tell me what YOU are promising, not what HE or SHE is not!...for all of the monetary problems that we seem to be in, the diabolical politicians throw so much of it away campaigning...guess it is not that bad, after all...the money thang... Of course, the easy way out...is to not watch TV...or read a newspaper ...thinking about that...the job of a reporter has sure changed, right?...per small example...in the home, there are 35 floors of fams...well, people...roughly 220 homes within a home...how many newspapers are delivered here?...perhaps, 20 tops...where do they get their info?...web net and the pixels...and in this upscale condo, I figure 80% republicans...thus....drum roll please...the vast majority are watching FOX...egads, what are we doing here?... Superseding anything I could throw at ya this morning...is the fact that we ALL must do OUR mind a good boost...and VOTE! ...midterms are not always the most visited elections...many, skip them, for the presidential general ones...however, there is too much at stake this time around...however you do it, make sure YOUR voice is heard... VOTE! ... Kyrie Irving...in the spotlight yet again ...and not for good stuff...his dealing with the anti-semitism...yes, there is always something that he is involved in...the problem is, that he is a member of a team in the NBA...AND, he is stubborn as they come...fostering his own viewpoints to the chagrin of whomever else is dependent on him...last season, his fear of the needle, or his distrust in the vaccines for the Covid...led to  his missing half of the games the team played...I could go on...his arrogance of questioning 'the need of a coach'...the league has suspended him for at least 5 games...until he apologizes for his actions...and ...

The ultimate dream of a pitcher...throwing a no-hitter!...in the World Series ...only happened one other time, by the Yank's Don Larsen...for us elders, the sight of C Yogi Berra, jumping up in Larsen's arms ...is etched forever...I said other, cuz it happened again last eve in Philly...BUT...the nowadays version...yes...it was done by 4 players...the use of bullpens are commonplace...rarely, does a starter go 9...even now, there has to be some hesitancy to pull a pitcher, sporting a no-no...Mgr Dusty Baker, he himself from the old school...did it...so now, it is the Javier-Abreu-Montero-Pressly...er JAMP no hitter. ..oh yea, Houston won, to tie up the series, 5-0... Washington 'Redskins'...the former name of the NFL team in DC ...finally gave in to rising pressure to change it's nickname...the owner, Dan Snyder, wanted to keep it...citing his own beliefs as gospel...the name was gone...in his ornery state, decided to just call it the Washington Football Team...ah...

When your scheduled 'plumber' shows up with but one thing...a wrench...small one, mind you ...a sense of dismay swirls about your head...true, with no collection of goodies, er tools, in a big bag...just the wrench...it's a huge deal when he arrives to switch out parts of the shower...as in the home, the high rise...the entire BANK of water has to be shut off...35 floors without water...and this bloke has a small wrench...and you KNOW what he did...nuttin'.... "CAN'T BE DONE!" ...not with his small wrench...I wish this was a joke...suffice to say, we are calling another...who CAN DO IT!... World Series game 3 finally got played ...the Phillies hit 5 home runs, in a lopsided 7-0 win...now the naysayers are calling foul on some cheating by the dinger patrol...see?...nobody trusts anyone in this game... Sirens a blazing right now...5:55 am ...can't see the problem...but, there are a lot of rigs running around... Daylight savings time ends this Sunday? ......

Whatever this bloody cold is...it did grab me for a bad spell ...thankfully, I am on the mend...would say that the Horse is 80% good...have heard that this thang is all over the country...of course, I got it, too... The headlines are tracking the awful attempt on the House Speaker's husband ...worse than what we can imagine, kids...a hammer blow to the head of an 82 yr old...the Repub candidates who make light and fun of such an act...get your act together...as I have said much too often, we are all Americans...and sone have tried to breach that...we all know who...so do you... Kyrie Irving ...basketball pro with Brooklyn Nets...a one year of 'study' at Duke, too...think he went to any classes?...famous for the 'earth is flat, not round'...serious...now has thrown out anti-semitic rhetoric...he is not worth having around my team...let someone else try to corral this bloke... I was working in the lab, late last nite ....naw, this is too easy and overdone...but, doggone it, it was a graveyard smash ...terrific beat and absolutely fun to listen to... 'The Monster Mash' by Bobby Boris Pickett and the Crypt Kicker Five ...Pickett came up with the idear of the song...as he was doing a gig with another band...and started talking ala Boris Karloff...and the foundation was set...they made an album of eerie songs...ha ha...in the session was none other than Leon Russell, to name drop...and the drummer was the dude of the Ventures, Mel Taylor... the sound effects were coo, the coffin opening was imitated by a rusty nail pulled out of a board...the cauldron bubbling was simulated by water being bubbled thru a straw...and the chains rattling were simply chains being dropped on a tile floor...and there you go...released in '62 and it is a classic...           AND did you know...that Andrew Gold did a cover of it ...and one of the background...

It is now the time for all GOOD AMERICANS to step up...finalize their thoughts...and VOTE ...let the majority rule and on we go...however, if you DON'T VOTE...you have nothing to complain about...every tally counts...especially yours...the ads on the pixels are indeed brutal...and costly...special interests groups dictate so much of these...filter through it all, and decide what you believe...yup, VOTE!... Did you watch game 2 of the World Series? ...the Astros pitcher was near unhittable...hmmm...of course there are doubters out...his change of shoes and glove...and well, you can probably guess the banter...listen, kids, beisbol has always been about cheating...stealing signs...doctoring the ball...doctoring the bat...roids...even further back, the exclusion of minorities...shoot, it is the National Pastime...ah, what?...that of cheating?...anyhoo, Houston won and the series is tied...FOX wants 7 games...ha ha... Not sure how my brain is working today ...but, the line on the Ducks...
