What miserable playing conditions...in the British Open ...way over yonder...and you must survive to do well...reminds me of somewhere, but, I just can't put my finger on it... Would you break up the cast of Seinfeld ?  Sure, it's a time laced show that this Glee ride is on...but, get serious, none of these kids are high school age anyway...it's a satire on the those times...and, who in their right mind, thought that Richie Cunningham and Fonzie were in school?  So, the producers have decided to shake up the show and graduate (fire) their 3 top singers...albeit 3 of the top 4...but Lea ?  I fear he feels like he's got a magic wand and he can find suitable replacements...I think it's a huge mistake...rumors have it that she and Curt are going to move on to another one of his new projects...really, she should go on her own and start popping out some songs that show her abilities...I digress...leave the show alone... Is it not a year round fantasy for the rich?  The Emmy's , Oscars, ACM's, ESPY's, Golden Globe's, and on and on...and just who votes for these things?  I reckon it must be Green Tea as the drink of choice...for these voters...and do the nominees have contracts that get a bonus if they are done so...and more if they win?  Like the highly underpaid professional athletes have in theirs...and yet we watch...and worry that our SS checks will actually make it to the bank ...and not bounce...geez, what's wrong with this picture... So the government fights go on about the debt ceiling...and the republicans are trying their darnedest to protect the rich cats that they represent...and decide to not pay the people who have paid up all their lives...and withhold the social security checks ...what?  Have we got this whole thing wrong?  Hey, let's start with withholding all moneys that go into the congressman and woman's pockets from the lobbyists... Have you followed the NFL stoppage ...so similar to that of the NBA...hey, kids, there isn't the money that has been there for the last 8 or 10 years...time to figure it out...you're going to have to take pay cuts just like the people who buy the tickets to watch you PLAY...hey, I'd rather watch college ball anyway... I know the money is tight everywhere...but on our flights across the US of A, the planes were packed to the gills, whatever that means... I just can't believe the best of the republican party is Michele Bachman ...she doesn't ever answer any questions thrown at her...no tangency whatsoever...and her conservative views are not in the real world anymore...hey, just listen to her speak and tell me something I have said is wrong...unbelievable... Staying in the political world...just how does the government think that handling the debt ceiling will be accomplished unless there is give from both sides?  And, if the rich don't really pay taxes, isn't this a mute point?  Only 48% of the US pay taxes... Where do I begin on this...first of all, the trade to let Adrian Gonzalez go...well, he has become the best hitter in baseball...now that he has the center stage in Boston ...look at his stats... leading the AL by 20 points ...surrounded by real sluggers, to boot...which he was not in San Diego ...and what did the Pads get for him?  Youngsters, real youngsters...not a good trade...especially that SD needs pop now, NOW!  A GM blunder... In all of sport the confidence factor is so huge...and the SD boyz are lacking in this...being shut out on a regular basis, with no one guy that can come up with clutch hits...what happened?  Last year, of course, they had AGonzo , but the little guy, David Eckstein , had many such clutch hits...where does that come from now?   Fact is, it isn't there... So what?  It will be a fire sale prior to the July 31st deadline...I guess ML really goes by that date, unless your are Boston, NY, or Philly...look for Ludwig, Be...

Trying to get back to the real world...but not so fast, my friends...met up with Rob Hill and his wife for dinner and fun...lots of memories, and talk, talk, talk, even though I was still feeling the effects of the flights... The spaz Pads ...there is no excuse for the abomination of offense that this team exudes...held scoreless, again, and again...maybe, just maybe, the GM needs to come out and say , it just may be part his fault...you can't make chicken soup out of chicken ____...they finally scored their first run in 38 straight innings...oh my... This is the season of the reunions...and the beauty of Facebook , allows us to look at some of the results, thereof...so interesting to see what people turn out like... It's been 10 days since I have been on the links...and, my last time, was the best I had in the last year or so...do I dare say, it will be a bummer next?  It's always an adventure for this guy...
