The new Prez gave his first speech to Congress ...and the country, the Congressionals, and the pundits were all lined up ready to absorb what he said...and HOW he said it...ah yes...the line was drawn, too...the Demos and the Repubs...what was gonna give... And the OSCAR for the best picture goes to__________...oh my...in the most bizarre twist of the history of the Academy Awards ...happened... La La Land! ...the stage was overrun with the parts of the film that put it together...started their acceptance speech...and then...there was milling about behind the speaker... I thought that there was a Kramer moment ...some dude got mixed up with the real peops, was fake accepting a trophy...there were blokes with head phones running about...taking the OSCAR away...what?... pandemonium breaks out ...and then the La La Land producer announces "we are not the winner, it is Moonlight! " ... "this is not a joke" ... bedlam ... The presenters were the elders , Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway ...damn, they aren't gonna let my generation do this again ...when he opened up the winning name from the envelope...Warren looked aghast...looked back into the envelope for more...on it was the name of the La La Land gal winner...
