You have a big issue on the beach...at Ocean Beach...a hippie type area, just south of Mission Beach...that's a lot beach, huh...anyway...there is a situation after the conclusion of the fireworks there...the people have a marshmallow fight...what?...true...and the mess left after is legendary...so the community has come up with a ban of the thing...which went nowhere...and you know, it...it happened again last eve...kids, these days... We were on the 33rd floor watching the spectacle...and it was just that...could see different launches up and down the bay...very cool... Oh My!...the Pads have won 5 in a row...it's the Pizarro World...those who haven't, did...3B Chase Headley had 4 hits...what?...and P Eric Stults, 2-11, won a game...just don't try to figure theses blokes out...maybe 6 today?...c'mon... This will be short, kids...I am heading out to the course...which player am I going to be?...you never know...the 80's or 90's guy?... Thank goodn...

With the center stage being World Cup Soccer ...I have a question... are these players also doing so in the Major League Soccer league? ...is it like for the Olympics where the top pros represent the countries?...like in hoops...I looked on Google, and couldn't come up with the answers...the other countries have their own pro leagues?...a little confused... The end of horse racing at Hollywood Park ...is upon us...as the owners are developing it into living spaces...the casino is going to try to stay afloat...and what was the time that the Cali Racing System used for the races is now split between Los Alamitos and Del Mar. ..it's now Los Al's time...and another question... what do they do with the quarter horse races that they ran during this time?...inquiring minds want to know... In the groundbreaking times of the 60's...there was the racial equality movement of the Freedom Riders ...in the south...er, southeast...and the beginning of the television coverage of the same was in it's infancy...regardless, it was a terrifying time for those on the buses... Just as so, is another of these similar things...happening right now...as there are busloads of young immigrants being transported to parts of the US...to be assimilated...a fact that protesters abhor...and their way of dealing with it is by blocking the passage ways of the buses... Hmmm...the theory must be to scare the daylights out of the immigrants right back across the US border, right? ...and the bus driver, too...in lieu of the real issue...the policy of the country...seems to me like this method of confrontation is the worst way possible... People, these are people, who want to be free of harm and danger ...and you want to deny them this... by instilling your own harm and danger ...eegad...

I'm not sure how I can spin the anemic hitting of the Padres ...in an unfortunate path to the WORST hitting in the HISTORY of MLB . ..really?... it would be back in '88, and I don't mean 1988, it is 1888 , that some team has hit this poorly...and if you can find it, SD swatted .171 for the month of June ...eegads, just may be the record...which follows, is the lack of scoring runs...also on a pace of no other...seems to me, we should be playing small ball (bunting), in every situation possible... The pitching however, has kept us in games...and two of our better ones, are call ups from the minors...a Cuban defector and a bloke named Hahn (pictured)... both have been wonderful...and our closing staff equally as strong...and last night... We for the 2nd time this season, won a game with but one, ONE, uno, ein, 1...hit! ...keeps SD precariously out of the cellar, which has to be our goal for the season, right?... Morning kids, took a day off...went golfing...and it was my day of days...finally, and I mean FINALLY ... broke 80 ...Sycuan is not easy...and it will gobble you up somewhere... I started with 2 doubles in the first 4 holes and thought, here we go again...and from there I was 2 over for the rest of the round ...really good for me...and very satisfying...enough of me...
