Hi, kids...we are approaching the end of this calendar year, 2019 ...how has it been for you?...odd, to try to wrap it all up in a few sentences, right?...the best of...the worst of...thing is, the ball keeps on a bouncing...for moi?... These damn bowl games ...yup, I keep on a missing most of them...was asked why I am such a poor prognosticator?...it's not that I pick bad, but the teams I have endorsed aren't playing up to snuff...don't give a crap...what was that effort by USC yesterday?...perfectly AWFUL ...and then the guys from the Palouse ...OMG!...they actually prepared for the run?...made the entire Air Force look like the Army...ran wherever they wanted... UGLY ...both Pac 12 teams looked like dung...hey, the best team I have seen thus far, in ALL of these bowl games has been SDSU ...really...hmmm, might the Mountain West conference be better than they are getting c...

Not sure how one describes this Wack Weather! ... the cold snap in of all places, SoCal ...the mountains got hit hard with...drum roll please... SNOW! ...and lots of it...just 45 minutes away from us in Julian, 8 inches ...30 minutes north of us in Ramona, thick stuff on the ground ...2,300 feet of elevation...most people have no idea how much topography we have here... The mountains ranges stretching far north...got their fair share, too...enough to close down the I-5 at the Grapevine, north of LaLa ...the artery to the rest of the state... shoved all that traffic, or lots of it...over to the beach roads...the 101 ...ah, right thru Santa Barbara...where the kids were trekking back home...with the gads of cars, semis', and whatever...trying to get north...took like 12 hours to get home...in a normal 3 1/2 to 4 hour ride...gosh... The Blazers were making the comeback of comebacks...down 23 to the home team, the Utah Jazz (yea right, Jazz in Salt Lake City?)... closing due ...

The day after...gosh, it was a grand day ... Family. ..that's all I need to say...hope yours was as nice...so, we already start planning for the next one ...it's what we do... Hey, how about the hoops? ...all day long, if ya'll wanted...seems to me, that the best of the lot, was the battle of LaLa...two of the elite...the Lakers and the Clippers ...as the 'home' team for the night, was the Lake Show ... the visitor won ... LeBron and Co. blew it ...not that the Clip Joint isn't better...they both were playing hard...diving for balls, and taking charges...stuff that doesn't happen until the playoffs...usually...terrific play by the rascal Patrick Beverly. ..as the Clips were nursing a 3 point lead in the waning moments...not only stripped the ball from LeBron, but it caromed off his hands to give the ball and game to LaLa, er, Clippers ...I keep saying this, but, I am not sure that James is a closer, anymore... The other intriguing one was the Rockets...

A very emphatic Merry Christmas to all of you!...enjoy your day, however it is done by you and yours... celebrated ...regardless of whether you are church people, or not...please take time to honor and cherish what ya'll have...blessed with...we sure are... The day is filled with unraveling presents...sipping some coffee and whatever...listening to some Christmas Music...watching the grand son scurry about...probably make some Xmas Wassies...and figure out the timing of the turkey cooking... Snooki sent the pictures of the Rose Bowl Tix ...YES!... Ducks vs Badgers ...the line is stable at 3, favoring Wisconsin... Pro hoops dot the TV day...probably the best of them is the battle for LaLa... Lake Show vs the Clip Joint ...hey, we just started Mrs Maizel ...I think that is the name...curios setting and fun and witty writing...this was the pilot and they are already in season 3...where have we been?... You know, next year at this time...a week in New York City shall...

Be thankful for your children, kids...as we have them in our condo for the Christmas Time...a 9 month bundle of joy, Cyrus Allan Joseph ...gosh, what a sweetheart...wowser, the amount of energy he shows...amazing...now eating like real food...pretty special... I see only one bowl game on the docket... BYU at Hawaii ...hey, nice gig...unless you have a scrooge head coach, that limits the beach time...there are those out there...still...fly to the island, and won't let the players have anytime to flock about the surf...football coaches have the most archaic of all types of rule...some are living in the 50's... The first disclosure of who is leading in the bowl pool was revealed...of course, the Horse is last. ..well, purnt near...I am going to have to make the biggest comeback in the history of bowl pix, to be in the hunt...starts with BYU winning today... As we approach Christmas ...one thing that looms as large as there is... FAMILY ... getting together. ..hopefully, joyous for all...the traveling...the packaging of the presents...dang, if it isn't also in the midst of the worst winter days ...which makes the treks awkward , for sure... take your sweet time, kids ...throughout the country this year, there is massive amounts of rain ...all over the place...was just looking at the water level at Gulfstream Park, in Florida...all flooded...egads...listen, when you get there, it will all be worth it ... FAMILY! ... I have my BOSE ear buds on as I am writing this am...listening to a channel of 'Christmas Crooners' ...have no idea through what source...it is just in my music on the iPhone ...regardless, it is fantastic!....just some beautiful Xmas songs...I have told you that these buds are simply...awesome...right?... perfect sound...the BOSE and the songs ... The NFL game of the Eagles / Cowboys was a beaut...playoff...

Pundits have the notion, that if they are the FIRST to declare something , then they get the notoriety ... 'see, I told ya' ...and there were more than just a few, that had the New England Patriots as washed up...like, over the hill...a fading empire...on and on ...well now, they had a game last eve that was to show that...with the emerging Buffalo Bills , freshly stocked with some very nice young talented players...listen, kids, it was a beaut...and like so often in the last decade... guess who prevailed? ...yup, Tom Brady and his crew ...finding ways to get the W and the playoff spot... even with TT's legs, a running a couple of crucial times ...don't put these horses out to pasture, just yet... Still in the NFL...the late game had LaLa (Rams) at the SF 9ers ...it too, was super competitive and worthy of the time watching it...the home team won ... the Rams, not only lost, but got eliminated from the playoffs ...geez, and they are really really good...for you...
