Hooray for the Aztecs of SDS !  The upset of the highly ranked New Mexico squad puts them in the title game of the Mountain West tourney...and more importantly, roses in the eyes of the Bid Dance pickers...that's coming off a so so performance over CSU ...and they play UNLV , who bagged BYU , which I loved... I have watched a bunch of college hoops in the last week...and everyone, I mean everyone...runs the same offense...pick and roll or pick and pop...drive and kick...shoot the three...or drive and repeat...if you have a big man, you don't post him...you use him as the continuous screener...and nobody fast breaks... BORING ...and there is no team out there that is a dominant force... What is up with the DUIx ?  With all their law problems it has become Florida west ...and the suspension of their QB Massoli for the year...oops, but he keeps his scholarship...well, that puts Chip Kelly on the hot seat...they must have had some fun practices and fellowship... The Blazers...

American Idol ...hey I got stumped by the phone vote...one of my favs, Katelyn and one of Marsh's, Lilly , got the boot...the guys, probably the 2 that were needed to go, did...I think that a guy should win, but the voting is a problem for me...the panel should have some say in what ends up as the winner...all except for Ellen ...just kidding...regardless, it's great TV and we'll just follow it along... SDS survived in Vegas and just might have put themselves in the Big Dance , with their win over CSU ...they are not very impressive to me, but there is no team out there that I say wow to... So there is this solution one soaks their contacts in, Clear Care , that get rids of all the stuff on the lenses...and it has this special little plastic case that keeps the lenses in a vertical position...well, I broke that, so I used the flat cases that everyone has...and without thinking, popped the left one in my eye... OMG! ...the pain was unrelenting and I panicked until I g...

It's all about the pitching in the bigs...and the Padres have a stache that finally is on par with the BEST in MLB...yes, you heard me right, the BEST, Jerry, the BEST... It takes 5 good starters and a couple waiting in the wings and we got 'em...and defensively we picked up a good catcher...we are set for a nice run in the west...this season a tough one... I did not see the guys last night on Idol so withhold my judgement a bit... The weather is turning and I am pumped... Did you see Chile just had another 7.2 quake? The wireless printer works like a charm...whatever that means...

I think I jumped the gun on the winner...for sure Crystal is the clear early favorite... Katelyn coasted last night and just maybe.... get the boot ...however, there were some worse... Didi did a delightful ditty of a devilish Fleetwood Mac song...can Crystal handle all the hoopla?  This is the Q that will play out...and will she get the phone voters?  Cactus league stuff... Pads with a deceiving 1-5 record...they are giving up runs by blokes who will not be on their MLB roster...but the real ones are doing very well...and the boys are scoring runs...see where recently traded Kooz hit one out for the A's ...good for him... Did you see where your girl Lindsey Lohan is suing for $100 mill for implications that one of those babies in THE ad is really mocking her...you know like Madonna, Cher, Britney,...if you use Lindsey of course it's her ... It only took me 3 hours to install a new wireless printer ...and I haven't done the scan hook up yet, so I was told this am...

I am amazed how Karl Rove can go on the tele and babble on about anyone else...than himself...his blatant arrogance was part of our problem when Prez Bush was in charge of the US of A ...he has a mass of innuendos about what he may have done...and a bunch of them are not good...very similar to Erlichman and Haldeman of the Nixon years... leaks, lies, attacks ...google his name and you'll see what I'm talking about...if you throw enough crap eventually it will stick... Another braking problem with the Toyota ...scary tale out of El Cajon...this was after the owner had his car in for service... There is a domino effect when it comes to getting into the big dance for D-1 hoops...by this I mean, if your school doesn't win it's conference title, you are at the mercy of who you played and beat...by Gonzaga losing in their title game, and they will be in anyway, it eliminates some other school...the domino effect...and SDS is one of those schools who could be bounced....

But we had a little excursion up north this weekend...flew up to be with my son and his gurl ...teeth cleaning and x-rays...OK, it was a check up...had an awesome meal at a new place in old town...then hit Napa Valley ...joined a wine club and had a beut of a time...70* and a perfect 10...hit 5 spots and agreed that the most bang for our bucks was at Markham ...ordered 2 six packs, and we split the last "04 merlot they had in their winery!  I can't tell you how many people we're in the area...thousands... So what was going on while I was away? The DUIx fired their hoops coach after 13 years... Ernie Kent has had so many personal brushes with the U that I think they were just waiting for a down year to remove him...new coach for a new arena... USD voicing reservations about their coach...former Gonzaga asst. Bill Grier ...it's all about now...and he has to come up with a great recruiting class...and that's what it's all about in D-1 hoops...great guy who ...
