Ah, I could say that about a gaggle of things, now couldn't I?... No Stimulus ...like, in no check ...yet...the word out, was that the second round of the $ was on its way...alas, not here...I sent a Q out to the Facebook Fam of Friends ...most had the same response... 'NOT HERE!' ...patience, my good amigos, it may take up to a couple of months...that's what I am reading ...or, trying to decipher from the poopah from the government... I did receive from them, a voucher for 3 cans of Lysol, tho...signed by Donny, himself... One of the NY newspapers have dubbed the bloke, the Bleach Bum ...something like that...after his 'ingest the Lysol' commentary on solving the virus problem...er, cure...whatever...he came out yesterday, and recanted...said he was 'being sarcastic' ...hey, a NEW word for Donny!...there are tremors that he will NOT be part of the daily briefings by the crack committee ...a good move...if true...anything to keep his mug and mou...

Worthy of the headline, today?...you betcha...as the NFL draft dominated the day...of course, it was but only the Round One ...heck, the WNBA was done with 3 rounds in 40 minutes!...well, there were 36 gals chosen, as compared to 32 guys....OK, call it even steven...sort of... the GM's covet the lads from the SEC ...as almost half of the selected, were from that league...just the facts... The hot topics throughout the day, were Tua or Herbert? ...and countless possible trades up and down. ..all turned out full of malarkey ...no trades to the top tier...and, Tua went to the Dolphins, and Justin got the call from the Chargers ...in that order...I say, GOOD!...as Herbert would have been crucified in Fla...yes, I am the one that says, that the number 1 pick is NOT WORTHY...Burrow, was surrounded by a terrific cast in Loosiana St...he is not as good as the 2 I just mentioned... Rounds 2 &3 today? ...something like that...expect the running backs to be chosen, finally...you k...

It's been a very long time that I have been writing this Blog ...ever since we relocated down here (pictured here in '07) to South SoCal...the first couple, were no more than a few paragraphs...somehow, it grew...with a lot of prompting from my PNW buddy, Snooki... then, I saw that there were readers ...surprised moi, and then it got me going...I love doing it, and I hope you enjoy the product...listen, kids, you don't have to agree with me, but, I want you to think through things...like I do...the best times and the worst times... politics have always been a plus to write about. ..none greater than right now, ah, in the past 3 or 4 years...we have never been in such a hole...the position of the government is in peril...every single day, I wake up to new and more bizarre statements...and this latest virus...worse than anything that we have had in my generation... I can hardly wait for the end of the two things that I just wrote about... Yesterday...oh my...the weath...

Seems like the newsies decided to give us all some prognostications today, in their quest for headlines ...pretty much all over the board, as one might say...well, I am that one...in reality, it's pretty easy to do that... PROJECT what will happen...and not have to be held accountable , other than to say that they were right...and IF wrong, oh well. ..some say this, one dude said that, and the other gal whispered this...right... So, here we go...the 'rumors' that are out there...well, the educated guesses?...now, listen kids, these are not for sures ...just notions of not so grand times...in some cases... After all this is said and done, that housing prices will fall 30% to 40% ...hmmm, with the interest rates at rock bottom, that would make it a 'buyers market'...listening to this, apparently you can do nothing about it... Then another bloke said this...that there would NOT be a drop in prices of homes , just the number sold would drop 30-40% ...s...

Top of the morning, to you all...one of the craziest things I have seen during this pandemic...is some of the people, rising UP, and doing the unimaginable...grouping...in mass...and Taking It To The Streets ...in protest of the social distancing...the closure of many of the places, that the politicians deem as meeting spots...the protestors deem it inappropriate and want change...hmmm...not now, guys...you are wrong...until we get an inoculation...be patient, my good friends...or, perhaps, the summer...if, in fact, that will help quell what is out in the World... That song...of the same name of my title for the Blog today, 'Takin' It To The Streets' , was a big hit for the famously named 'The Doobie Brothers' ...catchy and worthy...of continual play... Trump has to always find a way to keep himself in the mainstream news ...ah, but dang it all...the list of positive stories about him...and the sources are dwindling as to 'who he can trust'...they a...

Morning, kids ...as we head on in to another week of the unknown ...I keep reiterating the same motto, to all of you, 'BE SAFE!' ...how are you faring?...just remember, we are all in this together...when you get down, the people right next door, are feeling mighty similar... chin up, cheer up, and ride this sumbitch out! ...you all will make it... Had a terrific Zoom Mtg with some 'old' friends last eve, the Martins ...gosh, it was fun to catch up...and this app, is simply the way to go...if you haven't gotten aboard yet, check it out... Isn't it interesting, the ways that people are being creative in their quarantining? ...notice on Facebook , that many are trying their hands at cooking ...and will post their finished creations...I love it...gives me ideas...like, last night, Marsh made a form of 'Shepherd's Pie' ...with a crust, in lieu of mashed taters...mighty delicious...
